Conversation starter:

If we were to get to playoffs and get promotion, who is good enough for premier?

Would we be happy up front, forestieri and hooper look pretty awesome currently, but both have only warmed the bench in the Prem.

Any thoughts?

For me Westwood, lees, pudil, bannan, lee, Wallace, forestieri, hooper and Lucas j would get in 1st team.

Doubtful about Wallace not sure how he gets a game at present started well but fading badly.

I'd have Hutch in and I know all his faults but he's class.

06 Apr 2016 21:21:51
Wallace didn't do too bad against Blackburn in fact he has done well most of his games? / UTO.

Thing about this above comment as soon as someone can reflect and chose things like this they don't remember a player for the season what he does for team they remember any mistakes casting more doubt on the player. I for one believe Wallace would more than manage in the premiership as would most of our players. At one but Joao was attracting apparent interest from Everton but his for drops and no longer. A player can't just have it one min and lose it the next you have to see them as a whole. Wallace brings promotion experience calm head etc to the team so his valuable advice is more than enough to keep him in your squad regardless of what division. this team is he best team I've seen for a long time I don't believe any player deserves any criticism because they've all been ace and to me they can hack it. For 10 min here and there for bench warming for their experiences for their callings influences I could go on but this collective team all plays their part which a team like this would be vital in premiership. UTO.

Bus is on his bike to some obscure Italian outfit. My guess is we won't see him again.

02 Feb 2016 17:21:46
We now have 4 good CF's, all with different attributes, so I doubt that Bus will be missed at all.

03 Feb 2016 10:27:32
Never got a run in the team, he was one of those bought in a rush on deadline day last year when we suddenly had money. He was starting to look good but then got injured and fell a long way down the pecking order with our summer recruits overtaking him. Good luck to him at his new club.

Dom Howson saying that Wednesday want to make one more signing tomorrow in addition to McGeady, who is having medical tonight.

He also suggests Wiggins might not be the only player moving out.

Graham Dorrans, serge Gnarby or Watfords Adlene Guedioura?

01 Feb 2016 14:43:57
Most likely Adlene Guedioura, I'm hearing.

Bournemouth have agreed deal with Wednesday to sign left back Rhoys Wiggins.

Been at club not long hope we made profit lol thing is not good enough for us but good enough for prem apparently he's not settled in Sheffield so he wants move on best of luck to him I say.

31 Jan 2016 20:24:28
I'd be quite happy to get back the 750K that he cost us.

01 Feb 2016 14:46:09
Apparently deal worth 200K. We're taking a big hit, if true.
Over 500K loss on a guy who contributed nothing.

02 Feb 2016 07:14:29
Would rather get an unhappy player out and take a hit on his fee than have him sat at the club taking a wage and possibly affecting morale. It's not like we can't afford it anymore. Shame he didn't work out as he seems a good player, he must be if he hasn't played many games and still moves to a premiership club.

McGeady deal back on, according to Sly. Loan till end of season.

Deal completed.

We Will sig Rhodes monday done.

30 Jan 2016 00:14:50
It looks like the end of the Rhodes saga, ( something akin to War and Peace re this site! )

Middlesbrough agreed deal with Blackburn for reported 9 million plus a possible 2 million of add-ons.

boro are too srrong now.

31 Jan 2016 13:14:58
Apparently we could have and were willing to match what Boro are paying but we were looking for a summer move rather than in this window. We would need to clear out some of our strikers before signing Rhodes, its one area we have a surplus of players and that will be easier in the summer. Ah well, other targets out there and with Hooper and Forestieri, and Joao and Nuhiu as alternate options we don't have a terrible strike force anyway.

31 Jan 2016 15:59:47
Just when we thought it was all over, it isn't now.
The epic Jordan Rhodes saga continues, as Boro' pull out of the deal.

27 Jan 2016 19:46:45
owls in talks to get Everton duo
Gibson and Mcgeady.

Agree1 Disagree0

28 Jan 2016 17:21:21
Looks like Mcgeady could be on his way to seville.

30 Jan 2016 08:52:03
Judging by the comments on the Everton site, Gibson would be the better acquisition anyway.

30 Jan 2016 20:49:06
I reckon that we have better holding midfielders than Gibson.
He is way too slow IMO.

25 Jan 2016 19:11:28
Reports suggesting where interested in Liverpool forward Jerome Sinclair 19 years old, for a cut price 3million. Mk dons, Fulham, bristol city and Watford interested.

Agree1 Disagree1

26 Jan 2016 18:27:28
His contract is up in the summer, when he would cost considerably less, though his signing on fee might be higher. Apparently good in the box but doesn't contribute much elsewhere.

22 Jan 2016 14:48:21
Report that Wednesday have made a second bid for Alan Judge.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2016 14:56:34
Hope so he's class and would give us the complete team to challenge for promotion

23 Jan 2016 21:39:26
If we have made a bid Brentford won't let him go easy because they still played him and he scored today. Can't see us pulling this off, but would be a quality signing if successful.

23 Jan 2016 23:39:27
Sly are reporting that Judge is unhappy at Brentford because his valuation, £8 million is pricing him out of the market.

I can't see us paying anything like that so he won't be moving anywhere unless Brentford drop the price significantly.

24 Jan 2016 03:40:53
Unless they can't afford to keep paying his wages?

24 Jan 2016 08:43:55
Apparently Wednesday agreed to triple his wages, according to a Brentford source, hence methinks he's unhappy. They have offered a new contract to him, but not on terms in line with their inflated valuation. Possibly a summer mover?
