Anyone know who the blond haired player with no number who had the shot tipped over at Alfreton is, think he looked useful,

1.) 13 Jul 2015 15:27:14
I was gunna ask same had a decent shot didn't he

2.) 13 Jul 2015 15:39:05
Was it Ryan crossdale

3.) 13 Jul 2015 15:45:38
Ryan Croasdale he's a youth player looks fairly useful but would expect him to go out on loan to a good league 2 side.

4.) 13 Jul 2015 16:35:17
Thanks Norwich and smokin, think we should fast track him to senior squad, he set up the goal, pinged a 40 yarder cross field pass and looked strong for a young lad, remember Ross Barkley running the show at that age! UTO

Right boys and girls here it comes! We are currently sitting comfortably in 18th position in the championship with a "coach" who doesn't buy the players, has a poor track record and has been put in the position of here's some new players, make a team! Poor lad hasn't got a clue about the championship, and is a poor manager/coach. Check his record. I said pre season that Roeder wanted a puppet to use to pick his team and I still stick by that. For god sake what did he ever do when he was a manager? I honestly believe CC has the best intentions, but no idea! I know everyone talks about being too early in the season etc etc, and it's a 2 year plan, but we have no chance at the moment. Chopping and changing the team is just ridiculous, and I don't blame CC but he just doesn't understand, or more worrying can't do it! I, like everyone else on this site wants success, but I fear that Mr.C acted too quickly in his new additions to the back room staff, and was ill advised. I don't know the answer, but squad rotation with 20 internationals like his mate Jose does might work, but it certainly isn't working at S6. Someone please make me smile again. UTO

In addition to what Dodger said, CC's comments after Bolton match all we were short of is goals. stop telling us what we have known for more than a season, we need a striker. The situation with players is ludicrous, Jack Hunt had a good start now can't get on bench, Mcguggan fans favourite can't get on bench. We have spent money with no basic plan of how we move forward, we appear to have spent for spendings sake and that sums up Roeder average player, poor manager and disaster incorporated as an advisor, GET HIM OUT!

2.) 16 Sep 2015 12:56:31
All points to roeder in my eyes. Agree with what you say Lincoln but hunt played last night . And I think we should give LM some time before we assume he's no making the squad anything could have happened with his new born

3.) 16 Sep 2015 14:23:49
There was a press report some days ago saying that McGugan had asked for a loan move away. How true, I do not know. However, to the Carvalhal situation: how many wonder if we are entering a re-run of the Dave Jones situation - when some of us were shouting early for his removal only to be rebuked for our lack of patience and even accused of disloyalty to the club. Last night we were told that it was another good show on the road - but Bolton had more corners, more shots on goal and hit the bar. Mere statistics? Actually statistics matter - they get us promoted or relegated. The Fulham game is critical- surely we can and must win that one. If we don't,then what?

Just what is happening? Utter carp

1.) 20 Aug 2015 07:58:24
Say what's on your mind. don't be coi

2.) 20 Aug 2015 08:24:32
Still early season guys don't get nervous too soon

3.) 20 Aug 2015 10:57:07
I did mean crap, but when full of lager and a bit disappointed in what I was watching, my spelling wasn't too good! I know it's early days and I don't want to moan, but it was a bit disjointed. UTO

I think the professionalism and the business like way we seem to be going about things this season ( I know it's really early days) is brilliant, the players wearing suits, showing respect to each other, and to us lot watching, sends shivers down my spine!! UTO, by the way what kit do you think we will wear at Ipswich?

01 Aug 2015 18:59:22
Just been watching CC interviews, I
Know it's early days, but wouldn't it just be superb if he was our very own 'special one' . I am also so pleased for big Atdhe, maybe with the service he might be our goal scorer we all crave? On earlier posts I
Asked for more headers from corners etc, and today we got that, just a thought. Upwards and onwards, UTO

Good post Dodger!
There is no doubt that all the strikers suffered last season from lack of supply. Our wide play was poor , and even the full backs failed to get decisive crosses in - Buxton style.
We now have at least one good wide player in Wallace - another one wouldn't go amiss! And what a difference it's already making.
I too would love to see the " big man " doing the business . He will still no doubt miss a shedful , but if he could get close to 20 , then with his nuisance factor , and good hold up play , he will still be a great asset in the Championship.
I don't know how good we really were today? Were St Mirren downright poor , or were we that good? Perhaps somewhere inbetween would seem to be the answer.
The big test starts next week - can't wait!

2.) 01 Aug 2015 22:23:40
Thought the whole squad and style of play was good today.
It will obviously be much better opposition than todays going forward but we've made massive progress in quality department from where we were.
Whether we get in to playoffs or not will obviously only be decided by results but we will be good to watch if we continue to play like that.

3.) 02 Aug 2015 10:00:25
Realy pleased for big dave (atty),will we get another striker and do we need one? or do we wait till christmas to see the position we are in I think May will be given till then I also believe there will be more goals from midfield

4.) 02 Aug 2015 10:22:32
Yesterday the hold up play was good and we had 3 in midfield who wanted the ball, Hutchinson, Lopez and Mcguggan all looked comfortable and Wallace got the crosses in. Opposition not great but you still have to beat what is there. Also thought Palmer and Vermijl looked good when they came on.

31 Jul 2015 21:14:48
Well I think if our new boy Lucas can use that raw energy and pace he has, and a little bit of composure we are all in for a memorable season. I am now genuinely
Excited!!! Come on, pitch, big screen, new faces, optimism, it's brilliant to be a Wednesday fan, let's love it!

I agree with hOWLer about individual mistakes costing us, but my big and major worry is that CC doesn't know the championship and the teams and way they play, and worry just who is giving him the info to pick the team that in his words he feels will win that particular game. It can't be easy, but after working every day in training with the players he has at his disposal I would have hoped for a bit better by now.
I know Rome wasn't built in a day, but like most other supporters when new players were signed we all go on you tube and see the best bits of each individual and expect and hope it will happen! Maybe me and a lot of others are expecting it all a bit quick, but once again I say sitting 18th in the league and drifting a bit is worrying. It's only because me and everyone else on here cares so much and craves the good times that we post these comments. I'm 54 and want some good times again, it's never easy supporting the blue and white wizards but just every now and then it's unbeatable, and I want that feeling again. UTO

This is what I think, and I would like replies or comments. The back room staff at S6 are doing all the buying and loaning of players, and they are all British (as far as I know) the head coach and all his people are Portugease (as far as I know) the coaches don't know the players that are being brought in and consequently are watching all 30 of them in training and are trying to pick a team! With all respect to CC he hasn't got a clue about our championship, or the players that are being brought in. He is either going to have to learn pretty quickly, or DC is going to loose faith pretty quickly, as spending all his money is going to make him a bit trigger happy. I think there are far too many players on the books now, and keeping them all happy is a job that nobody can do.

I think that 29 players is great! But this changing the team every game is absolutely
No good in the championship. A settled STRONG team is what is needed to get out of this league, and I think we have been found out too quickly that we aren't physical enough. I said this on an earlier post and strongly believe if we are to progress we need to be more basic, not European, it's blood and guts to get into the prem, and that's it . No messing. And also 1 up front at hillsborough, come on!!!! Don't want to bloody moan but 20,000 with 4,000 from boro, think of those prices Mr. C. I know I seem like a moaning sod, but I only want the best and my huge expectations are leaving me a bit flat at the moment. UTO
