Hi, I am a french fan of racing Club Of Lens.
In first, please excuse me for my english, I will do my best to wrtite here.
I am a fan of RC Lens since more than 30 years.
RC Lens has very good fans ( 30 000 average last season, and 40 000 the 4 last matchs. In L2 ( second league in France ). Lens fans are considered as best public in France.

Hafiz Mammadov has bought RC Lens last year with Gervais martel ( last president of the club ). At the beginning, Mammadov has made declarations as RC lens would become an very important club in Europa, and would play for win Champions League. He said that he would buy Falcao or Ibrahimovic if it was necessary.
Quickly fans have doubt on him. This year, club must play in L1, but Mammadov is not able to pay 10 millions Euros.
He refuse to pay, with strange pretexts, and we're heading for certain bankruptcy.
He is killing my club.

Last year, we were happy to have Hafiz Mammadov as Président of RC LENS. Now. we are afraid, very afraid for the future.

1.) So obviously a spoof IMO.
Correct use of English (e. g. apostrophes) in places where even some of our genuine fans get it wrong , combined with a "so obvious" attempt to "mess it up" like a foreigner might (e. g. In first - and - have doubt on him)
And the clincher is he makes no criticism of Martel who took them to brink of liquidation a few years ago, and has now started the "war" with HM resulting in the mess at Lens - surely a genuine fan would know that?

2.) Totally agree. He deliberately misuses the past tense ( "He refuse to pay") when he instinctively uses it correctly earlier in the piece ( "He said that" ). However, he does know French: he uses a French idiom translated directly into English ( I am a supporter since 30 years) mimicking the French use of "depuis". Inconsistent or careless.

You wednesday fans can't see the wood for the trees, this takeover should have happened by know, and I do believe this will end in tears. Like high green I believe the post, carry on dreaming, suppose I am a blades fan then!

I stand by my original assessment, I believe it was written by an Englishman trying to sound like a Frenchman.
Based on two things:- I lived in France for a number of years and received lots of memos written by French people in "English" trying to help me? and this one just doesn't look right.
There are what appear to be "deliberate" mistakes on simple things yet the difficult "translations" are spot-on.
Secondly, I have been following the story in the French press online for the past few weeks and the majority of Lens fans are livid with Martel and this chap makes no mention of Martel, why? -because that wouldn't wind up the Owls fans which is what the post was designed to do.
I'll just throw in a third thing that gives me cause to doubt it, it is the guys "handle".
I don't think a true Lens fan would use "RacingClub Lens".
The French and the Lens fans especially, refer to the club as RCLens, pronounced "AirSayLens", so why chose to use the long official name if you are a genuine fan?
I may be wrong of course, but I still thing this is just a worthy attempt at a wind-up. - I'll give it foive! (out of 10!)

9.) My friend in the IT dept of our office says he could make it look like he had posted from Lille if he wanted while still being in Leeds. He said its a bit tricky and would require a bit of dedication to do it just to post a hoax but it is possible. Also apart from the obvious muck ups as mentioned by others i'm fairly certain Lens are nowhere near bancruptcy. Yes there are issues with the £10M that has or hasn't been paid but whoever wrote this is just trying to wind us up.

11.) Could it be a Yorkshire man that lives in lille? Who'd of funk it? It's a shame that the banter page doesn't have a agree /disagree option because sometimes I think that if there's a phantom blade or other local rival supporter on the page they disagree with any positive statement and that's why when you look down some positive threads there's one disagree with every post and sometimes for no apparent reason. UTO. Keep the faith
