I now read we are exploring the option of bringing Cooper in as a new head coach and appointing Carvalhal as general manager. At this rate we will end up with more managers than players!
So we are on track for a chairman with no footie experience, sporting directors with no pedigree, a general manager with a terrible track record and a coach hot from Div.1.
Anyone feeling nervous?

Interesting to read some Swindon fans feedback, they appear to be pleased Cooper might go, just as a matter of interest what is Ian Holloway up to at the moment surely he would be a better prospect

Not feeling nervous , SCOWL , more disappointed.
From a position of strength - SG with some financial clout - we now have more upstairs than perhaps any other club! If Cooper comes on board , where's the pulling power to attract players to the club!
Looks shambolic so far , with more knee jerk reactions yet to come next week.
Looks like some of us may need to come out of retirement and get those old boots cleaned up since , at this rate , we won't be able to field a full team .
Oh Milan , what must you be thinking?

Sorry but I don't understand this obsession some of our fans have with Holloway?
He's had some success, famously with Blackpool, but don't forget he's had a good few failures along the way as well.
Don't forget how he walked away from Palace because he was feeling the pressure and said he felt powerless to bring about improvements .
Can you imagine how he would feel having to bring very rapid progress to S6?
From where we are now particularly this is a big, big , big job!
I personally feel we will have to make a few managerial changes before we get the right man or men in, because DC doesn't have an insight or deep knowledge of this business, yet.
But Holloway , and just as likely Carlos n Cooper for that matter, are not up to the job IMO.

Whatever holloway is up to he can stay doing that!

Interesting point; I had loads of respect for MM, he's a proper footballing business man. But, considering he sold us to fraudster from Azerbaijan, then john west hasn't covered himself in glory so far.

So, CC yet to be confirmed anyone think it's because he wants his own assistant?

Personally Des I don't think that's it, he's been so far away from the coalface for so long now I don't think he would know an assistant! And the only assistant that would help him succeed is his mate Mourinho!
I think this whole mess is all because of whatever happened to push Stuart Gray to the point of walking "out of the building" in a hurry, probably Mr Roeder?
I don't believe this was a planned change of manager at all, so the whole process only started a week ago when Stu had seen and heard enough.
As I said last week , Roeder was adviser to Vincent Tan at Cardiff when they appointed Slade , so we shouldn't be surprised with the candidates we are being linked with - Carlos Who, and an average Lge1 manager who lots of their fans claim won't be missed at all because any success they've enjoyed is down to his assistants and not him?

Its not an obsession with Holloway, Howler its just there are better managers out there than the 2 we are currently linked to, I would have thought somebody would have been knocking on Chansiri's door. Personally I would rather stick with CC than bring in Cooper. When you look what Bournemouth did on a minimum budget we should be able to get at least as good a manager and get better players on the budget we will have. We keep coming back to Roeder and he is the biggest stumbling block to obtaining a half decent manager, send him back to Tan
