how long did it take doncaster to get a decision from the football league because it seems a lot less than we've been waiting, or is that just because I'm a owl!
1.) Donny announced the takeover same time as us.
2.) So in theory we should hear anytime now?! maybe mm and hm aren't saying anthing to prevent fans saying, its an hour over this time and not done why why why. ?? safest approach imo! uto xxx
3.) Means nothing either way really.
For example - just suppose the FL have to check "20 things" before they can say "YES", if Donny have failed on item "5" after a month they get a "NO" and they're out, but we still have another 15 things to check which might take a day, a week, or a month.
Just wish everybody would relax and wait while the FL give their verdict, because there's nothing more MM or Mamma can do its out of their hands.
4.) Well said hOWLer, no two takeovers are the same. There have been enough positive signs in the last couple of weeks to say that it will happen. I guess HM would have liked to have had the takeover concluded by now so he could invest in the squad but it hasn't so we will have to be patient like him.

Didn't mm say we should hear something this week, now it's should be next week, the new season is almost upon us and we are still waiting for something/anything to happen regarding players and ratification, Just hope we don't miss out and end up playing catch up again. UP THE MASSIVE!

I know that memory can play funny tricks,but wasn't MM's takeover completed and ratified in quick time? Perhaps I am wrong, but it didn't seem to be anywhere near as protracted as this current effort.
2.) Mandaric had already owned clubs in this country previously, hence does not have to prove redibility. This chap lives in Azejaiban and very busy person. Hence comment re difficulty of communication due totime zone.

I'm kept panicking and still optimistic - but time zones and bank holidays is a ridiculous excuse for a serious business man.
Not concerned about fl ratification either, that can take ages so lens issues might not have anything to do with it.
As for Sponsor; I'd take anything that doesn't have Malta, bacon or blunts in it.

After reading this part of the story I am starting to have some concerns regarding the ratification from the FL.DNCG have now rejected Lens’ protests with the missing funds having still not arrived in the clubs account. I think if this is not sorted soon the FL will take a dim view on this,and could be why it hasn't happened as quick as mm would like. up the massive!
