I find it strange that a number of potential candidates are currently at other Clubs. Think most of us thought mm didn't want to sack dj to save money, would appear strange then to look at a manager where compensation would have to be paid. However most of the names have been put on by us fans, may be wrong but only 2 have been confirmed as potential targets by the club, Warnock and Evans. Wouldn't surprise if mm appointed someone who hadn't been considered at all. let's see, just hope it's soon!

There are ways to get around paying the compensation that would need to be paid, trust me. X

Such as?

There are ways to get around compensation, for example getting the manager you want to quit but then he is breaking the terms of his contract and may be personally liable for costs and remuneration. If a club approaches a manager and convinced him to tear up his contract then appointed him that would be tapping up, the LMA would be all over it like a shot and a tribunal would take place and damages awarded, at great cost. What with the match fixing scandal and everything else negative going on at the moment I don't think even the most reckless of chairmen would be this daft.

Surely it's easier to just find an out of work manager or bear the cost of buying them out of their contract if you (as a chairman) really rate them?

Oh don't get me started on the LMA, they do nothing but try to find faults, in any club.

A (NOT) very "sensible" assessment of the LMA?

I'm allowed to hate the LMA, after having them look over everything at a few clubs I've been with, they are a bunch of fools in suits. x
