Watched 2nd round league cup draw on sky last night. Thought it was a real mess. Rotherhams name never got mentioned in draw. For those who did not see allunseeded teams had been pe drawn to decide order and to see f home or away but the list was not shown. The seeded teams were drawn out of hat and then put into this list. Sky presenter was reading names out who they had been drawn against but his names did not match thse appearing on bottom of screen. Gave impression of being rigged. If it was BBC there would be questions in Parliament.
1.) Was a disaster to say lightly. Needs to go back to the bbc. Didn't agree at at the way they done it
2.) Give it to Soccer A.M. Even if they balls it up at least they'll make it entertaining! Anyway, how do people fancy our chances? I suspect Burnley will put out a mixed team and if we take it seriously we could go through.
3.) Burnley are not far off same team as last year and if they did put out a mixed team I'd fancey us to win

Alot of common sense spoken on this thread, good to see. The remarkable efforts of SG are better than we could have hoped for. Whensaw fixtures thoughtit was vey difficult opening for us and to be unbeaten is great news. Good tosee club going forward we had been in reverse gear for 12 years and at last wehave some stability. Mandaric must be pleased and needs to reward Gray with exra budget. If Gray was given money results could be beyond belief.
Saturday is as tough as it gets in this league as favourites to win title. It will give good indication if we can compete with top half dozen teams in this league.

Looking at explanation as why John ryan was rejected, it was becausethey had not given enough details of their future income. Apparently this is being applied to L1 teams going forwardand has been used by Championship teams for last 4. I can see why this takes time if you are a businessman with money in different continents. It would seem daft if a person has just stumped up £40 million to ask what type of income do you receive on a regular basis, Think some common sense needs to be applied, if a person wants to walkaway from an investment they can this type of test proves nothing just acts as a barrier. More I read about FA and FL the more I realise they have no idea on what they are doing. To ask for a business plan is understandable but again difficult to hve detailed one before you know ins nd outs of club.
