Firstly I must say I have not been to a game for some time until the Rotherham game this weekend.

I was shocked to see how poor the players were, Maghoma thinks he is Ronaldo falls over his own step overs and has no end product, Westwood and Lees I would say had reasonable games the rest were devoid of ideas and pace.

Very disappointed.

I am beginning to be concerned. Giving the players "free rein" sounds rather like, "I give up - sort it yourselves".

How about Tom Ince on a free now we can afford his wages!

1.) Not a bad shout. Rumours starting circling about us getting a good quality named player as new owners starting gift to let us know he means buisness. Could be him.

2.) Tom Ince going to a Prem club, look elsewhere.
We need a couple of players who are in their prime to pull the strings for the youngsters we already got, and a cool finisher (s) to convert a higher proportion of chances we create.
But we should also remember that the FFP rules limit how much Mamma can spend in a season.

3.) What tripe! Stop thinking that marquee signings are going to be made! It's good that we can be more optimistic now take over is done but don't expect us to be competing with the prem from players they'll be after.

4.) Not a chance. He is attracting interest from Premiership clubs plus the recently relegated teams not forgetting Juventus having had talks with him. If he comes to us it will only be because of the money. We need a good season next year to have any chance of attracting players like this as at the moment we are still seen as a fallen giant, all be it with a fair amount of cash to spend now.

5.) Didnt take too long for those to bring us back down did it! Matt Philips unhappy but think we got enough pace n brunt possible return? And about the fair play his group will sponser us that is the loop hole in the system. Co

during last nights "football" it was clear that we are in for a hard season. we lacked creativity and balance, all the new signings that played were seriously off the pace of the game and the only player that showed and class at all was gardner.

1.) It sun that Sammy has put in a bid of £20,000 000 to buy the Wednesday, so who knows maybe we will see some money spent on a few good players, we can only hope. UTO eric the owl

How about matthew kilgallon Just released from Sunderland. I know he hasn't played much recently but must be a better option than some of our current centre halves.

1.) He has not played much in last 2 seasons but if retains ability you are correct. I understand we are also in shake up for Alex Pearce who has failed to agree terms with Reading. He is not on good wages, although played dozen or so games last year. Also told a couple of real surprise signings are in pipe line which will lift spirits.
