So SG wants a proven prolific goal scorer. Someone who can score goals from nothing and capable of winning us the game. He said all this before signing the prolific goal scorer and match winner that is Stevie May and he's now said he'd be interested in bringing in Will Keane. He's as incompetent as Dave Jones when it comes to identifying a good striker.

Interesting that Roeder has gone into print to say that he and Gray must be "on the same page". Does he feel, as you do, that Gray,whilst an excellent coach,needs help in recruitment?

I took it to mean that Stuart Gray perhaps didn't think that the players Roeder was suggesting were good enough? I would back Grays judgement against Roeders he's been managing well in Champs for past 18months whilst Reorders been watching MofD,
Grays signings previously were budget limited but he still signed Westwood and Lees, and many of us still believe that May will come through including the Scotland manager!
Will Keane will be in big demand if he is released by ManU and it would be a real coup if we can persuade him to join us.

All makes perfect sense to me howler, btw I know it's close season and postings are a bit of a rarity at the moment on here , I reckon it was caused by the major update they did to the site some while ago that ended up being an absolute mare to post, as it's seems sorted now hopefully posters will come back on and we can get some discussions going.
