Unfortunately I don't think they are in quite that bad a state yet. Still funny though, I had to pull over in my car yesterday I was crying with laughter

I am a Wednesdayite of more than 50 years and during that time I have had to go through the ups and downs, mainly downs recently with the club and to be perfectly honest I do not like some of our supporters making fun of clubs in trouble either on the park or financially.
We should rise above all the negative thoughts towards other clubs and get around to supporting our own.
If M. M. had not stepped in a couple of years ago, Portsmouth read Sheffield Wednesday, that is how bad it could have become.
Please do not laugh at others because WE could become that club if M. M. does go and leave us in the lurch.
Money has become the be all and end all of most club and greed has overcome sensible thinking and planning.
We, the fans, still in our own way run the club by turning out each game and following our club, this is for every club in the country, not just us.
We are still trading in shark infested waters but hopefully M. M. and his co-horts have our survival and prosperity in mind and will push us onwards and upwards so that in the future fans of Sheffield and Leeds United will not be taking the chimpanzee out of us on these and other pages.

Well said, the Weeds situation is another wake up call for financial prudence in football but sadly it will be ignored by many and I'm sure further clubs will fall into a similar state. Also a reminder to our fans that just throwing money at our club is not a long term solution. If the people putting the money up want it repaying then the emounts invested need to be manageable.

Don't like to see the club go under but I hate the attitude of Leeds fans that the whole world is against them and that they seem to forget that most of there problems stem from terrible decisions by previous boards at there club not the football league. They like us spent big in the premiership but then they took it one stage further and pretty much bet the club on winning the champions league. This failed and successive chairmen have made this worse and then seem to hand over to an even worse board with less money. They were laughing at us when we were in trouble so I have no problem with laughing at them at the minute.

Don't forget Bates came within an ace of buying SWFC before he switched his attention to Leeds: there but for the grace of God.
