Anybody know what's the latest on the takeover becouse I've not here'd anything for ages, I was under the impression that from ssn and this site that something would be done by know. I find it a bit strange how Charlton Sheff united get taken over in days but ours goes on and on. ,

Utd not taken over, they had an investor come on to board, Macabe still there, and if you not read what's happening at your own club don't know how you know all about Charlton.
The takeover will happen when it happens, Milan made it clear we won't get to know anything from him till deals almost done.

I was as excited by this news as anyone but sadly have come to the conclusion now that it was just an agent trying to further his career/name. we can't blame Milan for his so called "feel good rumours" as he flat out denied it.

Just need to get our heads down and guarantee survival this season.

To the original poster, takeovers do not happen in just a matter of days, it's just that official news only gets released a couple of days before they complete. Multi million pound deals will be tied up in confidentiality and exclusivity clauses so that they do not become part of public debate.

Come on guys you should know by now that there never was a takeover in the pipeline. It's just more of MM's feel good rumors. It's his way of trying to convince the supporters that good things are heading our way. Then when eventually someone does come along in the hope of purchasing the club and a takeover is completed he says "look what I've done for you". He did it at Leicester, kept leaking his feel good rumors then when a takeover did eventually happen he stood back and took the plaudits.

Come on how can you call Connor Wickham a traitor. He was never our player and he was not in a position to choose which club he went to. Sunderland told him that he was going to Leeds. He gets paid by Sunderland and goes where he is told.

It is commonly stated that Leeds offered to pay Sunderland £15k a week towards his wages. This was money borrowed off Massimo Cellino who is now saying that he has been paying the debts and wages of the club for the last two months and has been humiliated during the transfer takeover and is considering walking away which could leave Leeds on the verge of administration. (This is printed in many newspapers today)

The post saying another feel good umou fom Milan is so fa fom truth its unreal. This type of rumour does not suit him at all. He likes to take the plaudits and enjoy publicity he would not want anyone stealing his thunder. It is well known talks are ongoing between Milan and probably 3 interested parties. One has been known to be making some progress. I have been told this by seval individuals but none actually know how far along the process they are.
One is a Qatar consortium, anothe involves US/Canadian interests.

With reference to the Qatari take over, do not heed this. They tried last year to take over Queen of the South, a poor, cash wise, neighbour in Scottish Football, and they could not either come up with the required cash, not much, thought to be about half a million, nor the management structure to advance the club. Queens have since been nearly out of business, but to their credit re-structured things and have brought about profits. These Qataris have touted themselves around a number of clubs with no success so probably we are better off without them. I can see the future being bright for us but we will have to be behind the team and the management and not have petty squabbles amongst ourselves. Remember one thing M. M. will not sell the club to anyone who will not be giving him a huge profit and with the cash to keep us and him going into the future with cash in hand/pocket. So let's wait a while till it is all sorted out properly.
