It's says in the Yorkshire post mm says we are miles away from a takeover'so much for the announcement this week.

You believe what you want to believe really, but the facts taken from MMs own statement speak for themselves IMO.
THIS story is not all fantasy?
Milan admits for the first time that there are "groups" interested?
He says they are "miles away", but we'd all say that if we were in his position and trying to get the best possible deal wouldn't we?
He says progress has been made difficult because of uncertainty over our Championship status.
No surprise then that this "leak" surfaces the day after we beat Midds and for the first time this season look to have half a foot in Champs for next season!
There is definitely some "jostling" for positions!
You can come to your own conclusions, but I'm too long in the tooth to accept what any businessman says as gospel without looking hard at his motivation for what he says saying!

Watched the chesterfield match last night and one player on show for Portsmouth was there number 11 a lad called Ricky Holmes what a game he had so come on Wednesday take a look at him he looks so good

I have neve heard MM so angry. His ant also indicated it could jeopardise negotiations.
I was convinced afte I heard him there was some truth in rumours. he did not deny a Qatar group wee interested. It sounded to me as though he was annoyed somebody had let cat out of bag.
Yorks Post article said that Wednesday felt JH had jumped the gun. They have either read it same way as I did or they got that fom club.
The delay over giving Gray job, the signing of players on short tem contracts. further expansion of academy, suggests both a short and long term policy.
Watch this space an announceent will definitely happen before next season and probably much sooner.

Thats what Milan was saying, the interested parties will be reluctant to commit to a deal until there is no chance of us slipping out of Champs!

We are10/11 points clear of drop zone and I know we will drop points along the way but I still think there are at least 4 or 5 teams worse than us even if we drop points and start slipping back I believe the other teams will also so I'm sure we are safe!

Not disagreeing, but do you feel sure enough to put £30m+ on the table that's what we are talking about!

Those thinking this is t oost seaso ticket sales ae wide of mark. This rumour emerged and was put down officially on first day of sales. If MM wanted to sell tickets he would hype story up even more. Allan Biggs has for once witten decent article which sums up why leaks are not liked.

Tough to call unless you have inside knowledge! I do think something could happen before next season but maybe we get carried away with hope! I do! Mm has never denied interest an tbh he has pretty much said sameas all othee takeover rumours as there is nothing close or tangible an he would tell us if there was. Agreed we cpuld be a bargain for the structures in place. But history an fanbase doesn't mean anything anymore money comes from other revenues now! Until milan comes forward an says were close or something is happenin. Ill keep my feet on ground an be happy when safety is achieved!
