MM has confirmed that he intends to approach the Irish FA to get permission to speak to Roy Keane. Ill be shocked if he is interested, he's only just took that job with the Irish!

Surely IF Roy keane was approached it would be to work full time with us yet also part time as RoI assistant? Dual role similar to Steve mclaren back in the Sven England era.

Personally I think MM was sounding RK and the FAI out via the press then said he was misquoted when it became obvious it was a non starter.
