Glenn hoddle is on Milan's radar according to chris waddle. apprently he's cautious of the move due to lack of funds. hopefully we can lure him in he's a top manger/coach in my opinion

Agree14 Disagree7

Hoddle would be my no 1 preference. Sadly, he is out of work so according to MM won't be one of the ones in for the job.

Agree12 Disagree3

Would love that. NB

Agree4 Disagree2

Hoddle replaced DJ at Saints and then again at Wolves. This is the only reason people are making a link (as well as his connection to Waddle who there is also no chance of coming in as he has hardly any experience and still plays his football on a weekend) but realistically there is zero chance. The bloke runs his academy in Spain and various other things, you're not telling me that every Premier League club needing a manager since 2006 or so hasn't sounded out GH and he's not been interested, why would he suddenly jump at the chance to take over a cash strapped, relegation fighting club in the second tier? Think about it. The bloke was even linked with various national team jobs over the years, including a return to England as a coach or assistant and even in some quarters as the manager. Not likely he would drop so low when he doesn't need to.

As ever ponty an informed and balanced post. Think it would be a great appointment but can't see it happening. Not seen anything more about Steve Coppell since he quit as dof at Crawley, think he could do a decent job.

{Ed003's Note - Gone to Pompey as DOF }

Aye SC went to Pompey as DoF, exactly like I said he would and was slated for saying, then was slated again when I mentioned the deal had been done. And now ill get slated again here with people disagreeing that I was right (even though I was, as I generally often am). Fun and games.

Phil Parkinson, Stuart Grey, Paul Dikov, Martin Allen and Steve Evans. That's the short list.

Believable0 Unbelievable25

Your right except for Stuart Grey I believe.

Agree1 Disagree11

Parkinson's would be good and he might even tempt Naki Wells to follow or is that wishful thinking

Agree7 Disagree5

What about pearce, clear favourite with bookies?

Agree1 Disagree4

MM confirmed yesterday that Gray is on the list.

Todays result is your answer for a Grey, Bullen team both not good enough get a new manager and back room staff in, a clean sweep is needed, should have been warnock, we need a earthquake to get out of this mess Mr. C

Agree4 Disagree11

Parkinson has done wonders at Bradford wouldn't mind him getting a go tbh not too fussed about rest

Agree5 Disagree1

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is a contender

Agree2 Disagree5

J. F. H a great player but not heard anything about managerial qualities has anyone any info on this, I would like to hear if you have?

Agree1 Disagree1

Last I heard jfh was a coach at forest, bet even he wasn't impressed on saturday by us

Agree0 Disagree2

JFH worked his way through his badges at lower league English clubs and with the Chelsea U16 team before a brief stint as a coach at Forest. He was appointed Antwerp manager in May this year, his only manager experience. Antwerp are in the Mickey Mouse, ahem I mean Belgian Second Division, currently about 5th, doing ok but not setting the league on fire.

I would honestly say JFH is not a real contender or MM is a fool.
