Just been listening to SG interview, I get the impression we'll wait the 2/3 weeks for Wickham appears to be all but agreed dependant on injuries at Sunderland. Also with the fact that Antonio is back and available I think we'll wait and not rush.

I think they will bring in centre half at least tomorrow. Think they were going to bring two forwards in one of hich was Wickham.

Does the two strikers include the kid from Arsenal we got last week? If we can get CW back then great but if not let's stick with what we have otherwise we undermine our existing forwards again.

I think we are more desperate in need of a centre half as loovrens is out Mr USA who's name I can't spell zayette out for rest of season Taylor coming back but not match fit and Gardner possibly out for the rest of the season as for strikers lavery will get more confident as he gets more games atde is not a championship striker league 1 at best but he puts in 100% most games and we just got Afobe which we need to give a chance we have a couple of great strikers in the u21 as back up give them a run if need be.

Anyone know anything about this lad Oshilaga we've loaned for a month?

Is it correct that we are trying to sign players who can play in both first and under 21s in order to save money.
Agree1
Disagree2
You'll have to explain how you think that saves money?
If somebody signs a contract, they get a wage. They prob get more when they play in first team but that's it.

Both above are good. Always nice to put a bid in for a striker from a club you are about to play.
Think it would not be a bad idea to drop the Sheikh a line and point out the benefits of Yorkshie air and ask if he would like to buy his son a Birthday present. Having a couple of clubs in family has its advantages. means you get a nice seat when come to Hillsbrough, pies are better, Beres pork sandwich, friendlier crowd etc
We would soon usurp that lot over tother side of penines as his favourite club.

We need to go for ademilson (young striker from Brazil) got bags of pace and knows where the goals are

Ademilson - and I bet he's dirt cheap, dying to live in Sheffield, and nobody else but you knows about him yet, better be quick then eh?
Agree10

I doubt I'm the only person who's heard of this kid and if I am then some club needs to snap me up as head scout because this kids got the potential to be a world beater and why wouldn't he want to come to sheffield on loan you obviously know very little about the footballing world so before you comment again try gaining some knowledge first
Agree5

I bow to your greater knowledge and I look forward to seeing him in our shirt very soon!
Alongside that Argentinian wonder-kid winger perhaps?
Like you say why not?

Freddie adu ain't that good to be fair I've followed him for a few years now nd he just ain't that good as for ademilson instead of trying to be clever just accept I know what I'm talking about nd yes you should

I didn't post Freddie Adu, that was another poster, but I did reply about your Ademilson post.
I replied to try and indicate to you that this is not FootyMgr on Xbox/Playstation, this is real life and you can't just look for a decent player and bring him here!
I'm afraid its you who " doesn't know what you're talking about " as you put it, if you think players like Ademilson would choose to come to Sheffield rather than Real Madrid or AC Milan.
These are just two of the biggest clubs, of many, who are linked with him.
That is what I was saying to you, yes he's a good player - that's obvious to anybody he's a Brazillian Intnl! - but be realistic, not a hope of us getting him.

I disagree totally pal as I keep saying I'm talking loan move which would be beneficial to all as far as him being on bigger clubs radar I don't think he is yet as he's not had a full season anywhere yet. So ye a LOAN move to a club that will give him week in, week out games would be a good move and easier for European teams to look at him as I say pal I do know what I'm talking about u just automatically thought brazilian we ain't got a chance but we'd b a good shout because we can give him games and put him out there, oh and I don't even own a console I'm a football follower not a game player many thanks AJsOwls

{Ed001's Note - and what are the chances of him getting a work permit? I think you need to get your head out of the clouds.}
Ed001 I reckon it's quite a good chance of getting a work permit but you don't know till you try so I reckon you need to get your head tested pal nd before you comment I suggest you also need to aquire a bit more knowledge too many thanks AJsOwls

{Ed001's Note - me? I am not the dreamer fantasising about their FIFA players joining Wednesday! I suggest you grow up and start living in the real world, as you quite clearly live in a dream world right now. There is no chance he would have the slightest bit of interest in joining Wednesday right now.}
AJsOwls- My apologies, as you say you obviously know what you are talking about.
I didn't realise, until you pointed it out, that building a football team was simply a matter of scouring the Internet & Youtube looking for names of players and sending them a postcard inviting them to Sheffield.
Also I failed to realise that LOAN's are totally different to any other form of move, and that players would never say NO to a LOAN because it puts them in the shop window and that is the only place that the big clubs look!
You see I always thought it was more about finding players that complemented each other, and the way you wanted to play, and not least at a price you could afford!
Then working hard to persuade the player and all their agents and reps, to come and play for you, and not any of the other clubs that were interested and probably offering much greater incentives.
Thanks for the lesson.
PS: Ademilson is not a secret, as I said he has already had approaches from Real Madrid & AC Milan and I would imagine he is on the radar of most major European clubs, but what do we know eh?
