DJ said to be wanting DJ Campbell on a season loan

Believable7 Unbelievable7

I would love DJ Campbell to provide the pace upfront, but Premier teams are interested. I can't see this one happening.

Agree7 Disagree3

Never gunna happen

Agree8 Disagree5

Prefer nile ranger tbh lot more potential!

Agree3 Disagree11

Ranger wasn't exactly the best for us last season. And I would prefer to play madine with a pacey striker. DJ Campbell would be miles better.

Agree5 Disagree5

Ranger was definitely pacey

MK Dons showing interest in Ryan Lowe. All over twitter. SSN tweeted it...
He deserves his champ shot but don't think he'll get it sadly. Hasn't had a look in pre season.

Believable10 Unbelievable0

Totally agree puts him self about well never stops trying and can always nick a goal not going to be much left of last seasons team

Agree6 Disagree1

True I've seen it on swfc news now

Agree3 Disagree0

I personally don't want to see Ryan Lowe leave us and think he deserves a shot at champ level and if I remember correctly DJ stated he would be given that shot

Agree4 Disagree4

Not good enough, misses too many chances, over the hill and should look at teams in L2, Rotherham perhaps. Gives his all when on the pitch though

Agree5 Disagree5

9 goals in 14 starts, not a bad record.dj never gave him a chance but he is knocking on now.onwards n upwards!

Agree5 Disagree1

Misses too many chances! he's our best finisher by a mile

Agree3 Disagree3

Hes in talks with them now as we speak

900k bid on the table right now for Craig Mackail Smith. Source: Brighton Argus.

Believable4 Unbelievable5

Post the link then?

Agree2 Disagree1

Would be an ideal signing for us.

Agree3 Disagree0

Don't know if I could see this happening even tho I would love 2 see him in Wednesday shirt

Agree1 Disagree1

I'M A BRIGHTON FAN AND THE WORD HERE IS THAT WE WILL KNOCK BACK YOUR BID BUT HE WILL SIGN FOR YOU ON LOAN.

Agree1 Disagree6

He is valued at £3m +. Don't think £900k will ripple the surface.

Agree5 Disagree1

So a team who have aspirations of a play off place are going to sell their top striker who cost 2.5 million for 900k

Agree5 Disagree0

Didn't they pay £2.5m for him a season ago? Sounds like a big loss to accept for a club like Brighton.

Agree2 Disagree1

Sounds like a load of crap to me

Agree5 Disagree0

Why would Brighton Loan one of their best players to a team in the same league?

Agree6 Disagree0

Cos there signing two more strikers

Agree2 Disagree2

Not even on the brighton argus

Agree1 Disagree0

Not best striker is he dint get a look in last year

Swfc showed intrest in giovane dos santos dj watched him other night deal will be done after Olympics

Believable6 Unbelievable9

I sincerely doubt it

Agree7 Disagree3

Never in a million years

Agree5 Disagree2

Spurs value him at £4.5m - do you have rind because I smell pork

Agree5 Disagree3

Dream on. Unlikely to drop a division form premiership.

Agree3 Disagree3

Very much doubt that, he said he hope's he can re-start his tottenham career now villas-boas is in charge.

Agree5 Disagree3

Maybe on loan but we would never sign him! and tbh loan is extremley doubtful aswell!

Agree2 Disagree2

DJ was certainly watching a player on Sunday, not saying it was Dos santos but you can be certain he will pull something off. Centre midfield looking more competative and he wants at least one more in this area.

Agree3 Disagree0

Spanish teams looking at him

Gorka larrea garcia in talks today, midfielder from numancia

Believable6 Unbelievable6

He looks like Rod Stewart

Agree4 Disagree1

Obviously I haven't seen him, but his career statistics are not impressive. Seems to play only intermittently wherever he has been.

Agree3 Disagree1

Are we really using this statistics rubbish again ... look at Maguire, slated before a ball was kicked and now everybody is saying how amazing he is! give the lad a chance!

Agree4 Disagree3

Not a reasonable comparison. Check it out for yourself, And by the way, I did not slate Maguire. Very pleased we signed him.

Agree0 Disagree1

I dont think maguire is amazing how many goals has he scored in pre season please remind me, and dont start with the he makes this n creates that, hes a striker goals is what its about and so far not scored one against professional opposition.

Agree1 Disagree4

Why do we want another defensive mid any way

Agree0 Disagree1

The man is just pointing something out, says he's not seen him and not rubbishing him -just stating a fact.

Agree2 Disagree0

Correct mate maguire looks quality madine al score alot more wi him upfront

Agree2 Disagree1

I'm going to give you one name, Teddy Sheringham, scored a few, created hundreds, what we want is a partnership up front that gets 35 goals, who cares if one scores 5 and makes the other 30, from what i see there are alot of people on here who have no grasp of the concept of football, its a TEAM game

Agree4 Disagree0

A creative striker should still get 15 goals a year, i personally cant see one 15 goal man in the team. desperately need a proven 20-30 goals a year man or cant see us being anywhere near this year. strikers job score goals wingers and midfielders job create and chip in with a few goals

Numancia midfielder Gorka Larrea has travelled to England to discuss terms with Owls

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Where is this from? cant find it anywhere {Ed046's Note - Look on Numancias official club site!! Mt spanish is not the best but it says we are talking to him!!

Agree4 Disagree0

{Ed046's Note - *My Spanish*}

Agree0 Disagree1

Translation from officail website as follows

Tuesday, July 31, 2012

Gorka Larrea has not practiced Tuesday with the rest of his teammates. The CD Numancia has granted a permit to travel to Manchester to discuss his possible incorporation to Sheffield Wednesday, the First Division club, an equivalent to the second division in Spain. Adamant midfielder will be absent from training during this week.

Agree3 Disagree0

So it does.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed - apparently your English isn't either! {Ed046's Note - i can be forgiven a typo}

Doncaster have signed rob jones
Offical on Donna website

Believable8 Unbelievable1

Sad to see him go who do we replace him with {Ed046's Note - I don't think DJ would let him go without having an idea for replaceing him!!

Agree2 Disagree0

Cheers rob jones and good look! Always played with pride for swfc!

Agree3 Disagree0

Good luck Rob you can leave with your head held high.Led us through a tough time and probably the most important period of our recent history,Good luck for the future mate
From one lifelong Owl to another.

Agree2 Disagree0

Already been replaced with Anthony Gardener

Agree2 Disagree0

Not since mike Lyons have we had a centre half with your heart ,good luck mate and Thankyou.

Agree2 Disagree1

Rob Jones is not fit to lace Mick Lyons Boots! Mick Lyons made about 450 appearances in the top division for Everton and us. You are talking out of your backside

According to Mandric On radio he said we will find out about that bid for Antonio within next 2-3 days and he made it clear that if they don't exept we will move on

Believable9 Unbelievable1

Deal dead and buried

Agree5 Disagree5

Antonio has just signed for huddersfield 1m u heard it here first.... good source (SSN)

Agree0 Disagree12

This is poker and Reading have overplayed their hand. Time to call

Agree6 Disagree1

Antonio hasn't signed for huddersfield at all not on skysports load of rubbish I think we should wait and see if Antonio leaves reading then there's only Swfc that's made a concrete bid

Agree2 Disagree2
