Gary Megson to continue talks with Tony Pullis this week over possibly taking Ben Marshall on loan for the rest of the season. Huddersfield are believed to have had a bid turned down for the player, whilst four other clubs have shown interest. If Marshall ends up signing his new deal at Stoke he will join us on loan, if not, he will be sold to the highest bidder, with his preference being Wednesday.

Marshalls comments on twitter tonight look posative hed staying.

Tend to think he'll stay with Stoke - hopefully they will then extend the loan. Hope Huddersfield don't sell Rhodes too early in the window as it will give them enough to make a decent bid. Otherwise i think we can outbid anyone in this division.

Swfc to put a bid in for stephen quinn . Megson rates him and would like him on board. Antonio from reading and jason walker from york city.

Quinn weynt happen. Good player but can't stand him. The only way the pigs would sell him to us is to sabotage our chances of going up.

Too small for Megson so no chance and can can not see others being of interest.
