Madine to Huddersfield tomorrow. 1.8m

I can't see madine going, I think DJ holds him in a high regard but I maybe wrong.
If we were to sell I'd expect more than 1.8m seen as for some reason transfer fees are really over inflated this season.

Fits in with DJ saying fans favourites are not always staffs favourites.

Could be true Rhodes has gone to Blackburn for around 8m, but I would expect huddersfield to go with a proven striker at this level rather than a young unproven player at this level in madine

Thought this had to be rubbish, but if you listen to DJ talking about Madine yesterday he does seem to be singling Madine out a bit, implying he's lazy in training and got to work harder etc he so might feel it would set an example to rest of squad? Mangers do like to put a marker down when they get chance, lets players know who's boss?

If we get offered £2m for him i think we should take it. I don't think he has the attitude to fight for a place because hes always been the main man, even as a youngster at carlisle and he does have this bad off the field reputation. Just a thought like, could be/HOPE I'm wrong and hope he rises to the challenge that the championship brings but i'm not confident. Someone mention Nicky Maynard above? That would be a coup, can remember Dario Gradi saying that he was the best finisher to emerge from the Crewe academy after Dean Ashton. Good praise considering the reputation of the Crewe academy and the time Gradi has spent at the club.

Have seen this lad play twice last season......excellent prospect......lots of potential. Would be a good signing.

Seen him play a few times. Decent but not sure he's Championship standard. He is MASSIVE though

Ranger has always been coming if terms can be sorted between the clubs.
