Heard we offered £400k up front for Le Fondre and Rotherham sold him for £350k up front to Reading because they refused to sell to us! Kick them out of Don Valley for that!!

We still have offers on the table to Koumas and Lua Lua.
Koumas we have offered to and believed he would sign which is why Coke was allowed to go out on loan but at the last minute he decided to wait and see if a Championship club came in with an offer for him once the Deadline passed, he has been told the deal will stay on the table for 7 days after Deadline day and if he doesnt sign it by then it will be removed and we will move on.
Same as Lua Lua he wants to see if any other offers come in as believes can earn more elsewhere than we offered him and again deal will stay on table until 7 days after Deadline day before being removed.
Think once JJ and O'Grady fit we wont need Lua Lua but will see what happens.

Found a story linking Koumas to Reading ...... in 2007.
Looks like somebody didn't read the small print ??
I'm tipping there's a good chance we could see him at Hillsborough and I bet he could still run things at Lge1 level .

Rumour came from twitter a few days ago. It was all over there. Unconfirmed. But as this is a rumours site.....

Not a "doom & gloomer" but not "deaf" or "blind " either ! When someone in charge of a club makes promises to the supporters about - "building for the future" - and - "looking for success sooner rather than later" - we are entitled to expect more than "treading water" - which is what we have done with the loan signings through transfer window. The alternative is that he was lying , which do you prefer ?

MM has appointed a new director. This is the same bloke who has worked at 2 previous clubs with MM before they were sold. Something fishy is going on. Wednesday will be up for sale before xmas. That way the new owners will have to pay out in the next transfer window.
