Wednesday have held talks with free agent Luke Chambers, centre back formerly with Forest.

Surely we have to many defenders at the mo. we'll need to sell before we buy. lee, buxton, r.jones, beevers, leira, gardner, r.johnson, mattock, reynolds, d.jones. think we've enough for two teams.

Think we need right sided centre back. DJones, Reynolds I think everyone agrees are on way out.

You forgot Bennett.

I would like to see the back of mr reynolds, and probably bennett (as we could still get some £££ for him), as we have adequate cover in this dept. just hope we don't lose REDA, REDA, REDA!

RB is well covered, and personally I hope we play Llera alongside Gardner as I think the guy is class....and we have Beevers and Rob Jones as back up...however I get the impression we will be signing at least another CB soon (are Mr Irvine and Mr Megson working away together on our recruitment strategy in the background somewhere...!?) UTO

You forget we have Mr Wilkinson on the Board who we once saw field a team of 9 centre halves!

I'm a wednesdayite living in Spain and came across this site about three weeks ago. Although it can be funny at times it doesn't seem to have any genuine rumours at all, ever.

Occasionally info turns up which turns out accurate. Other is made up stories or someones wish list. From what DJ has said we are looking for players who are proven at Championship level or higher. Also wages have to be acceptable to budget. Thus names such as Owen and Freeman you know it is rubbish. DJ keeps things very close to his chest so little reliable gossip.

Diogo amado, kieran lee, chris maguire and caolan lavery were all on here

Have we actually got Diego Amado? I've seen news about every other signing we've made even the Lavery one but nothin at all bout Amado other than some tool changing his Wikipedia page!

I have seen people on twitter asking Rob Staton about Amado and he confirmed that he had been signed but no announcememnt was made about his signing due to it being development squad.

Gardner was all over here like a rash

i think the bbc teletext service is amended by a blunt, all the relegated teams are on there and charlton but no sign of wednesday or huddersfield been like it for a week now, maybe there is'nt enough room to write about the massive
