Agree8 Disagree2

Le fondle? isnt that French for copping a feel?

Agree9 Disagree0

Apprently Hamill has been told to find a new club.

Agree2 Disagree2

Hammil would be a great signing for us, if we were to get him and antonio we would be in a very good position

Agree3 Disagree1

Hammil has been put on transfer list by wolves

Agree2 Disagree2

Hammill just been deemed surplus to requirements at wolves, they are willing to listen to offers. Would be an excellent signing....

Agree3 Disagree0

Le Fondle copping a feel world class rumour

Sheffield Wednesday are interested in taking man city Winger Vladimir wiess on loan along with midfielder muarice edu from rangers

Believable2 Unbelievable11

Edu is quite highly rated, but whenever iv watched him play he has been fairly poor.

Agree5 Disagree3

Weiss is set to join Pescara on loan in Italy

Agree7 Disagree1

Will Edu cost £350,000 or less?

Agree2 Disagree2

He'd have been a cracking loanee if it wasn't for the fact a) man city have previously loaned him to Bolton, Rangers and Espanyol (top tier clubs at the time) so therefore a Liam to the champ (any team) would surely be a backwards step. But more importantly b) Pescara in Serie A claim to have bought him today...

Sky Sports sources understand Sheffield Wednesday have had a bid turned down by Nicklas Helenius.

The Danish striker has been linked with a move to England throughout the summer and Leicester City and Hull City have both also been monitoring the situation.

Championship new-boys Wednesday have failed in their initial attempt to sign the AAB Aalborg man as they seek firepower for life back in the second tier.

The 21-year-old, who stands at 6ft 5in, was last season one of the top scorers in Denmark with 14 goals for AAB.

Premier League trio Fulham, West Bromwich Albion and Norwich City have in the past all also been linked with Helenius to give a reflection of his talent.

Believable7 Unbelievable2

We said we have spoken to them but no bid, also Leicester and Hull supposed to be interested in the 21 year old

Sky Sports sources understand Sheffield Wednesday have had a bid turned down by Nicklas Helenius danish striker for aab

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Seems we are having quite a number of bids rebuffed or turned down.... Only problem is when the bid is leaked it alerts other clubs....Know we need to be careful with the purse strings but we are obviously falling short in our valuation of players....

Agree5 Disagree2

Speaking of which..anyone heard anything about our last bid for Antonio ? Don't think we fell short there. Good lad but not worth more than we offered.

Agree1 Disagree0

Offering any more than 800k for Antonio would be paying over the odds. I heard that was the sum we offered, if Reading won't accept that, then we should move on and let Antonio sign for one of the clubs who are willing to be held to ransom (Leicester, Huddersfield etc)

Agree3 Disagree1

First bid was well short £350k. Now we have more than doubled it ??

Lee Barnard from southampton in talks with sheff wed after Southampton believe he's not needed

Believable6 Unbelievable4

Ok in League One... Hardly got a look in last year for Southampton in the championship. Don't think he would cut it in the championship.

Agree2 Disagree2

I mite be wrong but im sure he was injured. for most of last year and they brought in strikers to cover for him and then they was playing well so he couldn't get back in, Chris o grady Marlon harewood or lee Bernard.. lee Bernard everyday

Agree2 Disagree0

Sure he scored against us when they kicked our ass. Good finish too. Like a younger version of lowe. Shame he's gone wish him well.

Agree0 Disagree6

This non-sense wasn't even worth reading.

Agree6 Disagree0

Gary madene stated on his own twitter he wasn't going any ware settled in Sheffield

Agree7 Disagree0

I thought could be believable until he cant spell one of key defenders right!

Agree3 Disagree0

Bizarre list-making. I used to do this when I was a kid with pencil and paper

Agree0 Disagree0

You are not an agent and some of the above indicates you are not in the know either

Agree2 Disagree0

Pantalons

Agree1 Disagree0

Doubt Madine will be going anywhere.

Agree3 Disagree0

As if the goal machine is leaving

Agree3 Disagree0

Haha are you on glue why would we sell reda and madine when they re our main players stop sniffing glue

Agree3 Disagree0

Haha Gary Madine out??no chance he's our number nine.he will be the main man next year.

Agree4 Disagree0

Everypost i have ever seen with statemenrts like this have been untrue.... so expect this lot is a load of bull****

Agree1 Disagree0

Cant see Madine or R.Johnson going anywhere

Agree1 Disagree0

Does rida jonson play for wednesday ? smells like a dingle !!

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats why madines number nine and scored 18 goals last year but dj dosent rate him get real mate

Agree1 Disagree0

I'm a Middlesbrough fan an in our local paper Gary madine has been mentioned a few times would love him up here where he belongs he's one of us an we got a better chance of playing in premiership

Agree0 Disagree2

The cull is gathering momentum now we have paid there wages all summer and strengthened the team nearly all of last years squad will move on,DJ will upset a few fans with some of the departures, this is only a prediction based on the way DJ is working but 80% plus of the promotion winning team will go.This may not prove popular but needs to be done if we want to maintain our upturn in fortunes classic management from DJ supported by our best Chairman ever keep it up guys.

Believable7 Unbelievable2

Think the figure 80% by next summer will be correct. Obvious candidates are those who have failed at this level previously to mov on. Others post on here names who just do not sit with the way he is working. Experienced players brought n have t be proven at Championship or equivalent/higher level.
He will take young players but they have to have shown promise and be under 21. very sound policy.

Agree3 Disagree0

All this constant faith in MM is very admirable from many fans. However, I predict that, come the end of the next transfer window, that SWFC will not have paid any 'substantial' transfer fee for any player (or players). For MM there is only one end game. Our trust should be in DJ.

Agree3 Disagree2

MM saved us and so will forever have our gratitude. As for trust? I trust him not to waste his money and to sell us to the first person who offers him an acceptable return. We have to hope that that particular person/organisation is sensible and not like who he sold Portsmouth to. Fans make me laugh, Bert McGee Saviour then miser who wouldn't spend; Dave Richards God then Self Serving Devil; Dave Allen Saviour MKII then Nasty Name Caller. MM Saviour MkIII then .................

Agree6 Disagree0

Non of the so called saviours mentioned above put as much into the club as MM has.We would probably be in Portsmouths position if it was not for him .People carry on saying he wont spend money and he will go,after the GM episode when a section of fans turned on him it took a long time for him to feel wanted .We are watching Championship football at no extra cost this year because he froze prices as a reward for our support if he is all for himself why would he do that.People forget he is a wealthy man without football he does it because of his love of the game.We need MM more than he needs us so if you want to be back in league 1 carry on complaining about the money he is not spending and we will be back where we started. He is the most sensible Chairman we have had for years no stupid share issues no borrowing money from other shareholders to raise cash just honest business sense.Keep up the good work MM.

Agree4 Disagree2

I agree, "trust MM" and all that b*******, yes he has done wonders for us, and even when we questioned him before with sacking of megson, he proved right with that, but his record speaks for itself, at the minute we are in a good position, but dont get carried away with mandaric, he isnt a wednesday fan, hes a business man

Agree2 Disagree2

I've got to say that you make some very good criticism of my last posting and I have to agree that MM saved the club when it was on its knees. You are also spot on when you say you trust him not to waste his money. The big thing that is beginning to grate though are the many promises of paid for signings that never materialise. I'd rather not hear the promises in the first place. Fans make me laugh too but any Chairman should not continue to raise false expectations when it comes to player recruitment just to keep onside with the fans. You can't fool all the people all of the time. Oh, by the way, you forgot to mention one more recent Chairman. The loony who pushed us over the edge.

Agree2 Disagree0

They have made no promises regarding expensive signing in fact they play everything close to there chest, the false hopes being raised are from fans with short memories.18 months we were on our arses desperate for someone to take over and invest money so trust the guy we did not exactly have an abundance of takers if it was your hard earned money you woudnt be throwing it about so let the chairman run the club and us support him and the club.

Agree1 Disagree1

MM hasn't put any money in, he has bought the club and when he sells us he will want every penny back plus profit. He is in it for an investment all be it an enjoyable football investment. When your talking about Chairmen who put money in Dave Allen is the only one to my knowledge. He made loans to the club which he wanted a return on but he also bought Proudlock as a gift to the club. I know most of you don't like him but he's the only one to actually put his hand in his pocket and said here you go Wednesday

Agree4 Disagree2

Couple of comments is obviously from a pork or one of those fans who were on either side of Allen / Wednesdayite divide. succesful. By the way its cost Milan a few quid he will get his money back only if we are succesful and progress up leagues. Simply rediculous.

Agree0 Disagree1

WHAT PIFFLE!! a certain Mr Allen completely alienated the fan base at S6.The atmosphere at matches was awfull. And what money did he put it in?
pro rata....not a penny against the paying customers.he will get every penny back once we are in the top league.the fans dont get a dime.smiling faces are back at hillsboro! and long may it last....if Mr Mandaric gets us to the top league then i hope he trebles his money.

Agree2 Disagree4

Yes Allen did all that and hes also the only one to gift a player to the club while not expecting his money back. Trouble is it was Proudlock. Just because you don't like him doesnt alter the facts

Jamie ward from derby county in talks with sheff wed clough needs to offload players to make signings
Source: derby county board member

Believable2 Unbelievable8

Taking O'Connor was unbelievable his legs had gone 2 years ago and was struggling in L1. Clough jnr is not his dad when it comes to management. He had no pace and it appears he likes his team to have none if the above is true.

Agree2 Disagree0

I smell bacon

Agree3 Disagree0

Derby have signed James O'Connor from Donny not the ginger ninja we had!!

Agree0 Disagree0

It's a different o Connor the defender from donny, not our former player!

Agree0 Disagree0

Wrong o'conner mate they have got s o'conner from donny who his 27 and hasnt played in l1 since 2006 = legs not gone

Agree0 Disagree1

Not the same James O'connor as the midfield warhorse we let go to Orlando in January!

Agree0 Disagree0

Haha this made me chuckle

Agree1 Disagree0

Whoever said it was s o'connor, its not, he is still called james o'connor, but yes not the same one we had
