Sam Hutchinson deal is agreed in principal just the fl ratification holding that up. Simon cox, roger Johnson are linked as well and Jonny howson but not sure that one would happen. That young centre back from ROC lens is a possibility as well.
Agree with hutchinson but no chance with howson. Key player for norwich. I would go all out for poyet. A wanted man but class playmaker. Cox not sure on. i'd test water with wickham or machail- smith. Failing that at look at that young lad from west brom on loan. As for defence I wouldn't get gooch back. Landre on loan or try and get micheal keane on permanent deal from man utd. Think we need 4 quality signings and 3 good squad players to add strenght in depth which we've lacked for years!
Landre not good enough development squad at best. Think you will all be surprised by quality brought in to club.
Unless we want Wickham on loan we won't get him we have no chance of buying him our budget isn't going to be that big. Also I don't think Sunderland will let him go anyway as he did well at the end of the season and proved himself useful in the premiership.
No harm in asking sunderland, if they say no then fair enough. he proved what he could do last season. U never know we mite get lucky!
I would be a bit disappointed if we paid the £6m+ it would take for wickham on permanent, as we could get 4 players better than anyone in team for that money. At the moment we are so thin we need a rebuild more than just the one star.
If we spending £30m on playing staff then different matter of course, but that won't happen. I'm very positive but just a little realist too.
Sorry forgot you were best mates with gus poyet and he told u how much wickham is worth! Person mentioning wickham is only suggesting testing the water. If we paid 6m for him and he fired us to promotion u won't be moaning!
I wouldn't at all - and don't know what he's worth obviously. And, if he scored enough goals to get us promoted you're absolutely right, i'd be delighted.
Correct on all fronts, however was just sharing an opinion. Thought that was kind of the point here.
