Miguel llera to be released and chesterfield interested in the ageing centre back. Apparently already approached the Spaniard who is keen to stay in area with his family settled. Asked him on Saturday in car park at Hillsborough and he just smiled and signed a autograph.

I think Llera is a passionate player who deserves first team football, but like others have said, elsewhere.

It`s absolutely beyond me why people come on here and belittle our players.
We all know that Llera is no Des Walker; but he always gave 100% and was a fine servant for the club. I hope you`ll all join me in wishing him every success wherever he goes.

Don't get me wrong, he's been a terrific servant over the last couple of years and was fundamental in our promotion season but although he does give 100% at this level he isn't good enough and for us to push on the likes of Llera, Prutton, Taylor & Reda have to move on.

Id like to keep lliera but taylor go and prutton is going coventry if they can afford his wages and reda, I like reda not played much so can't grumble and when played, scored and made an effect on the team in my opinion! uto xxx

Llera hasn't been offered any contract like any other first team players SG finds out his budget this week can expect most out of contract players to go only ones I'd keep would be Kirkland Somedo and loovens

No players offered new contracts yet. But I can tell u signing will b all free transfers apart from lee gregory from halifax aslong as we can beat off competition for him from other champ sides!

Lives near me in Aston and speak with him regularly. He loves it hear, his son is settled as is his wife ans his wife's mother. He knew he wouldn't get offered a new deal at s6 when I spokke to him 4-5 weeks ago due to his age and as he puts it "Legs are going". Already has his coaching badges and had already received interest from other local (lower division teams) for his services (including player/coach roles). He was content, but sad to be leaving Wednesday. Lovely guy, lovely family.

Terry Burton lives in Sheffield and he left Arsenal as he did not get Head of Academy job. DoF at Hillsbrough will have overall resposnibility for Academy and recruitment. Burton would love Academy role although not sure about recruitment part.
What he would bring is coaching expertise and personally believe would be good sounding board for Gray to run things by and help provide good second opinion. They both worked with Jones who we know has his own view on things and must be difficult to work with. Hence suspect Burton and Gray have easy going personalities and could work well together. Do not think Bullen or Deehan bring much in way of tactics or pure coaching ability.
Deehan good at paper work and Bullen good at motivation. Recruitment of players has been and is still a problem for us mainly due to budget not sure if any individual could resolve this. Only way is possibly to recruit young players and develop them, link with Manchester City and general improvements in quality of Academy recruits seems best bet.
I put forward Burton as an option for DoF role a few weeks ago but have no inside knowledgeon situation.

Scott hogan from Rochdale is on swfc's radar you have had him watched many times this season. But I have heard you are going to take a punt on another decent young striker who has scored quite a few this season.

Hope we do, could he's scoring goals and we have missed out by not taking a chance on these types of players who people say couldn't cut it at a higher level and usually prove people wrong like le fondre, grabben and wells ect.
