end of! Connor wickham has gone to leeds! uto xxx
This is a disaster and shows the lack of forward thinking for our beloved club. Leeds are only 7 points ahead of us but have taken him on loan with chance to buy reportedly for only 3 million with SAFC taking a 5 million loss. We should have taken the lead and Whickham should be our player. MM you should be photographed.

Yep - it hurts. LUC in takeover talks with some allegedly corrupt Italian who the FL don't want so it's to be hoped for the sake of LU fans that it occurs because rumours are suggesting that the poverty stricken arabs that curently own that Club are out of cash after mid march so how they will pay wages let alone a 3m fee for CW is a big gamble.
Nope had forgotten about that drubbing actually, but doesn't change the current league table, CW chose wisely. And yeah I hope it goes through as well, then we'll be moving on up.

It is disappointing that Connor has gone to L***s but we have been doing well since he left. There in no point blaming Milan for this, do you really think that we can afford £3m for 1 player. Let's concentrate on the rest of the season and hope investment does come so that in future we can afford players of this quality and eventually get this MASSIVE club back where it belongs.

Wickham did well for us but fact of the matter is he isn't a owls player so he's free to go where he and his parent club choose. We already have too many loan signings to accommodate due to league rules so we don't need any more and also got madine back. Whether or not the players are as good as CW its not really feasible to have another loan signing. So let's grow up, stop blaming MM and get on with supporting the team. If Sunderland have let CW go out on loan at the time we needed a striker we would have him now but they didn't let him that's not MMs fault! UTO

CW did play well for owls, he fitted in to our style of play, but that dosent mean he will fit in at leeds. How many great strikers have we seen go to clubs and do nothing, because they just didn't fit into that team. So beware leeds its too early to start talking about shooting up the league table, and while you're at it just take a peek over your shoulder there's a team in blue and white catching you up UTO
So if i'm right, that means we are still after someone. any clues anyone?

Because this is a rumour page, I heard from my friend who is an owl, and I don't know what his source is but apparently we're looking into getting Ben Marshall back and sign Micheal Chopra from Blackpool instead of Afobe. I hope this is true Ben Marshall was like my idol when he was with us! WAWAW!
