We certainly need a goal poacher if we are to be sucessful in league 1. Hopefully two strikers will come in soon, maybe freeing up to offload some of the fridge players

Would think waghorn is out of our price range and he will not want to drop on to league 1 wages we can't even break a deal for a league 2 player who could double is value by the end of this season they either need to gamble or move on

Martyn Waghorn has been told he is allowed to leave Leicester City before the transfer window closes next week. The 21 year old who cost Leicester £2m last summer - Derby, Bristol City & Wednesday interested in making a move for the striker

wednesday will only sign le fondre for less than 350, 000 as megson has told the star a few weeks back that he can get a player that can score goals for less than that, the other striker that megson had bid for was ryan lowe 200,000 giles coke has been put up for sale as he is no longer needed at the club as we have cecil nyoni, james o'connor and liam palmer for back up!

Just to update everyone on certain things. ALF has handed in a transfer request and will be allowed to leave today. Wednesday have offered to 400k wanted this morning and are hoping for a reply by dinner. Bad news O'Grady will be out for 2-3 months says the physio after more analysation yesterday. Daniel Jones was set to join Bristol Rovers on loan till Jan but he has an injury that has called the move off.The other striker we have bid for is Ryan Lowe from Bury and we have offered 150k but that will be rejected. Other options are Cody Macdonald,Leigh Griffths, Sean Rigg,Sam Vokes (loan) and Simon Church (loan). Giles Coke is on his way out, set to join either Motherwell or Watford for 100-200k. If that goes through Megson will sign free agen Gavin Mahon to add more experience in midfield. Still looking at Gary Roberts and could offer something towards start of next week. If we get him Palmer will leave on loan. C.Morrison deal to Middelesborough could still happen if we get two strikers,won't if we don't although Mowbray is keen on him. Reynolds will stay untill January

why are we not going for a proven goalscorer at a higher level than ALF.the players we buy now should also be good enough for the champion ship. like cody mcdonnald of norwich

since when has cody mac been proven at champ level or was that on fifa for your team? he's had one season at gillingham in league 2

reason we cant is because if they are proven at champ level then championship teams will want them we are in league 1 not prem or championship
