We are looking at Stu Burcket, an irish under 19 from UCD. Plays either wing, quite fast. Probably to join Corry on the development squad.
We've signed dev squad players for 2 seasons. Its great up to a point but Corry. Mccabe etc are not kids. In other countries like Spain players that age are full internationals. Its fine if your a young supporter but some of us have spent thousands followi the owls for donkeys yrs waitin to win summat. I've been watchin since 1955 an seen one trophy in 1991
When is someone actually going to develop from the mystical development squad into the first team squad?
We all want silverware, but actually waiting for it seems like an unnecessary pain, no offence.
Sometimes it feels like supporting the Owls and England is similar to falling into a bucket of t@ts and coming out sucking my thumb.
I'm not expecting any trophies during my lifetime, so anything else is a bonus.

There's plenty of highlights without a trophy though. I get we want the silverware, trust me I do.
But we've had a few wembley days and great results, there's been some real quality on display over that time and I think we're not far from a really exciting push towards top half/playoffs.
Let's not be Forrest fans and live in the past!
