Crystal Palace duo Dean Moxey and Mile Jedinak to join Wednesday next week along with ex Bolton striker Ivan Klasnic. Dave Jones is also set to make offers for Luciano Becchio and Chris Eagles. Wednesday pulled out of Joel Ward auction because he's over-valued and Dave Jones hasn't given up hope of recruiting Danny Batth. Any Danny Batth deal is dependent upon Wolves new boss and he won't decide till July when players and staff return to their clubs for pre-season.

Whats the source on this like then? WTID

Agree5 Disagree4

Just seems too much info to be true and DJ reported not to be interested in Klasnic.

Agree4 Disagree8

Dj hasent sed he isnt interested in klasnic at all

Agree7 Disagree4

Klasnic has said he isn't interested in Wednesday though ( Bolton press yesterday)

Agree5 Disagree5

First two sentences are nonsense and do not think we would be interested in players mentioned. Two palace journeymen are not what we want.

Agree5 Disagree2

You are in cloud cukoo land u aint got the money for most of them and why would they join a team who could go back down again

Wednesday to sign Dale Jennings From Bayern Munich on an initial loan deal ending christmas 2012. He has been struggling with an ankle ligament injury which has hampered his progress in Germany. He has mainly been deployed as a winger for Bayern Munich II, Bayern's reserves side, but can also play up front. Very pacy, made his name at tranmere 2010/11 season. His time on the sidelines has contributed to him feeling home sick. Great coup if it all goes through and he remains injury free. Keep on hearing rumours about us signing Scapuzzi from Man city. Saw him play against wolves for man city in the FA cup/carling cup earlier on in the season, looked a class act, nice first touch and would fit in with the squad well.

Nice imagination !

Agree6 Disagree6

Jennings would be an excellent signing.

Agree9 Disagree5

Been said already, scapuzzi did nothing whilst at pompey whilst in champ, or oldham in league 1...you're talking rubbish

Agree9 Disagree7

Scapuzzi did nothing in a team facing relegation, you'll never get the best out of that sort of player in a crap team. It's a rumour anyway, hence the name of this website, it's based on hear say, but if it is a move that does come to fruition I think he'd fit in well.

jason koumas has been offered a pay as u play in the sun 2day

Believable16 Unbelievable13

DJ looks forward, not backward. At least that is my belief and fervent hope !

Agree4 Disagree6

Might be able to do a job, has a good passing range on him. Not expecting him to him to set fire to league if he does sign. UTO

Agree4 Disagree5

Listen here Jason, stop posting on here, i don't think DJ will be reading

Agree8 Disagree2

Apparently it's true. I don't feel very enthusiastic about a player who could have come to us last summer but instead chose not to play at all.

SHEFFIELD Wednesday have pulled out of the race to sign talented Portsmouth right-back Joel Ward, The Star can reveal.

Believable10 Unbelievable5

Worrying aspect of this report is we would not pay transfer fee of £450,000. If there is a low ceiling on deals DJ will be working with one arm tied behind his back.

Agree2 Disagree4

Have faith in DJ - If he deems him not worth the fee then so be it. Most of his budget will be for striker(s)

Agree0 Disagree2

All it says is we will bot pay £450,000 for him. In other words DJ does not feel he is worth the price they are asking. Nothing more can be read into it than that

Wednesday out of the race for Joel Ward as Milan Mandaric does not want to pay the £450,000 transfer fee.

Contrary to reports in the Daily Star, Sheffield Wednesday will not offer any contract to Jason Koumas.

Believable6 Unbelievable8

So much for us having a serious bid for Prem then ?

Agree4 Disagree7

Why waste 450k when we have buxton and possibly K.lee coming in on a free in that same position.
Read on shef star website someone moaning milan wont spend money etc...
i hate fans like that...
Why waste money? So we can end up bk in same horrible financial place as before....??
Lets get hinchcliffe back why not...
We arent man city and dont have millions but some ppl live in a fantasy world.

Agree12 Disagree2

We,v pulled out because we,v got buxton and now lee why pay over our estimate for a 3rd right back? Money can be used elsewhere.

Agree7 Disagree2

Do you know anything about Joel ward? he plays right wing right.back.centre mid,
He would have been handy to have but Dave Jones prob. seen someone better on a free or something

Agree4 Disagree4

Hes mainly a right back thats where he plays his best football. We,v already got 2. Money will be used to strengthen in other areas.

Agree4 Disagree3

He achieved excellent reviews this year whilst playing left side attacking midfield. He can play right back but has not done very much of late. He is autility player who can do a job in a number of positions, would have been a useful addition. Sincerely hope that he was thought not to be worth the money rather than it being out of our price range. If it is out of the price range it is a concern.

Agree2 Disagree2

In DJ I trust. Ward was overpriced. Versatile may be... but when I hear that word I always think jack of all trades and master.......
