No he didn't, he said that signings could be made before ratification but he also said that they wanted to sign 6/7 players before the start of the season.

Agree with second post but actually said "6/7 players at least".

He's said all this before and nothing ever happens. Nothings changed my friends.

What about going for m;guire from united I think he could cut it in the championship and he is a wednesday fan. , just a thought

Sammy ameobi to sign this week followed by hutchinson. Andy johnson could b set to follow them with a deal close but he prefers to stay in london with watford showing an interest

He may have said it all before, but this time we have the cash to do it. So I trust what anyone says that comes out of swfc right now.

Much as I'd love us to be signing Premiership class players it isn't going to happen. Nor will we just be signing loan players and cheap out of contracts only probably somewhere in between. This is a GOOD thing. We finished near the bottom of the table last season remember. New owner with some money so let's do it right, consolidate as a top half club over 2 seasons then go for it with the basis of a club that can get promoted and stay in the Premiership.

Are u the same person that says it was rubbish about the takeover saying it won't happen egg on the face sound about right to you mr wise old owl there shound be a new paper on this site called dome & gloom cause you wound be top of the list

There is no reason why premiership players who have been released or are available can't come to us. The year before last when we had no money both Kirkland and Gardner came

The first post is not as negative as t sunds on first reading. Where I would disagree is that although we will not be signing Premiership stars we should be signing players who are squad candidates for a potential Premiership side, or players who could become Premiership standard.

Does nobody use their heads on this site?
Mandaric wanted to sell us to a person who could get us to the premiership quicker than what he could. Mammadov has money, done a very similar thing with his two other clubs, so why would he not want to speed the process up and get us ready for a promotion push within the next 2 seasons?

That's what mandaric has said in various interviews, so don't be surprised if we build a team capable of promotion sooner rather than later.

I wasn't being negative and I though the takeover wouldn't happen. What I meant was I didn't want us to spend like no tomorrow and end up like we were for years until Mandaric came along. I've always been optimistic (after all I'm an owl!)

Heard Danny graham could be the target now for a striker. Hasn't had the best 2 years but looks like Swansea are prepared to offload him and want a transfer not a loan. Source. Local Swansea paper on Tuesday.

I'd have him if his wages aren't ridiculous, good poacher and natural finisher.

He doesn't play for Swansea, at present plays for Sunderland and was on loan at Middlesborough, Watford apparently keen.

Rubbish doesn't play for Swansea, Watford and Middlesborough want him from Sunderland.

Why would Swansea off load him when Sunderland own him?!

Rubbish. Every time I've seen him play he's a waste of space. Rather go with what we've got as he'd only end up keeping lavery out. He can't hit more than 10 goals a year! Just what we need.

Danny Graham is definately not a narural striker or Goals poachers? He score like 3 goals in last 2 years.
