apparently Stephen Bywater coming on loan from Derby for 3 months?

Believable16 Unbelievable3

Don't know much about him but his Wiki page is not encouraging highlighting some notable errors. If we need a keeper on loan why not go after Lee Grant?

Milan Mandaric at 17:45 on 19/09/11 stated on Radio Sheffield "He has spoken with no investors or proposed buyers of Sheffield Wednesday" He is fairly open in previous dealings at football clubs so all rumours about Russians Americans are rubbish. Perhaps if any one wants to continue pushing these they can be specific about where rumour originated. keiser is just trying to drum up ticket sales for his show.

Max Keiser has hinted at big news coming from Sheffield Wednesday. Unfortunately this news is not good for most Sheffield football fans. Milan, McCabe and the Art Rooney II consortium have been locked in talks over a sale and merger of Sheffields clubs. The new club will be known as Sheffield Steel (Rooney wants Steelers, but was unaware of the existing ice hockey side)
The investment figures are huge , including £120 Million for a new stadium and an unlimited playing staff budget.
Please don't let this happen!!

Load of rubbish, Max Keiser is making sounds like it would only affect SWFC - this would not be amazing news!

And in what league would this unlikely team play ? where could they fit into existing rules ? tripe!

No way noone would have that

If it did happen which it is not they cant stop using hillsborough due to the grounds history & the tragic event of 1989

One Sheffield club would be a very powerful force and I could see why money men would like the idea. I know some would not like the idea but this would only be temporary if the club was a success. Folks would flock in. One thing is Sheffield needs a succesful football club and two clubs in third division is nothing for anybody to get excited about.
The point that hillsbrough would not be closed because of the disaster i think the opposite is true. Hillsbrough has not been a venue for any international, play off etc since.

Not feasable. End.

It was used in 1997 for the boro chesterfield semi final replay

To the muppet who said hillsborough hasn,t been used for any significant games since disaster. 1992 semi(sunderland-v-norwich) euro 96, 1997 semi(boro-v-chesterfield), 1997 league cup final replay(boro-v-leicster). Any big games played at lane in last 20 years??

Max Keiser, American Finance Guru says to expect some "amazing announcements" from Sheffield Wednesday coming soon, and says that the owls are the club to watch - Kind of falls in with the rumour that MM has been in discussion with some russians, and may be the reason that he has not really thrown his financial clout at the club - why would he? On the down side Max Keiser has an office registered in Sheffield, John Roddison is listed as a director and they are to hold a "show" in Sheffield in the very near future - maybe just drumming up ticket sales.

You set out the pros and cons of this story well. Personally I'll believe it when it happens. Interesting though that Max Kieser is starting rumours like this,it does make you wonder.....
