If kirkland not playing as part of deal why is he on the bench? or if other keeper gets injured?

Chris Maguire will be re-called from his loan on monday

Hope you are right and that he gets a chance. We need players who can hold the ball, rather than 100 mph sprinters like Helan.
Pace is good to have, but I believe part of DJ's downfall was that he neglected the ball players and relied too heavily on raw pace. It can work away from home, but a leaky defence and no one to put through defence splitting passes, left us bereft of hope.
I am sure I speak for many when you look at Giles Coke -- very gifted, but never does it consistently or for 90 mins. Hope he comes good in the New Year.
As for McPhail -- started well, but what's happened since?
Like to see more of Corry & McCabe.
Finally, would like to see Mattock at left back -- looked more than competent before his recent injury ( actually surprised me, since when he first came, he looked another passenger ).
As for captain Reda -- love him to bits, but makes us all nervous wrecks. Afraid he's not quite got it at this level.

I only want to see Maguire back if he is given the proper chance he deserves, otherwise i'd rather he was playing regular football elsewhere.

Stuart Gray said that he was going to recall Maguire on Christmas Day.
