Ed ... What's the latest on Glenn Loovens are there others interested or is it a done deal ? {Ed001's Note - Cardiff are showing interest, but money is tight there.}

How old is this loovens? {Ed007's Note - 28}

Glenn loovens 28 , centre half 6ft 3 Dutch international (2caps ) previously at Feyenoord Cardiff with DJ,and currently at Celtic

Would this mean no Batth or maybe the release of jones of beevers?

Beevers and Llera plus 2 others will be main stay of central defence. Rob Jones will be moved on, more emphasis on pace at this level.
Batth and Johnson, Maguire and Loovens ones under consideration. Johnson wages major problem so likely 2 of others.

After Manchester United declared him available on a free transfer, Michael Owen is going on holiday to contemplate his next move. Would have a good influence around the club, if anything.......

He'd be a waste of money, and it makes me laugh saying he wont drop down a league i'd like to see who will pay his wages to sit out injured every season. Wednesday need a 20goal a season man with pace and someone who isn't injury prone.

The person who told me about kieran lee signing which I posted on here first tells me tom heaton is very close to signing.

Is this a few inches, feet, yards or miles away. If he does sign we will have 4 at least Bywater, Jameson and Weaver.

We are interested in Heaton as we released 2 keepers earlier in the week - i also heard that this is pretty close to being a done deal

Dave jones said he wants another goal-keeper because he's going to let jameson go out on loan because he needs games under his belt

We may have numbers of keepers, but would you like to rely on them as stand-ins for Bywater ? Weaver's fitness always a problem and Jameson a risk. Would feel more comfortable with a reliable stopper

Next couple of days im told. Jameson is going out on loan.
