I just don't get the antonio knockers. Class player who often looks like the only owls player likely to trouble the opposition. Give the lad a break and get behind him.

Antonio has no footballing brain. All he does is knock it past the defender and use pace and strenght to get passed the defender where in league 1 u can do it but in championship uve got to do more then that. Helans the same. They both need bringing on sharpish!

Antonio has raw talent, quick, fierce shot, but his killer ball or pass isn't there. He needs good coaching in the pre season to improve it. He will be better next season.

Antonio scoring record and number of assists stands comparison with most at club. He does have lak of nouse about positional play, but this can be acquired.

Keith Treacy has been invited to the Owls training camp in Slovenia, along with a goalkeeper from an Austrian side.

Great crosser of a ball, but it depends if he is prepared to work hard for the team, didn't see that the last time he was here, drifts out of game too often for me. But as I said before great crosser of ball.

Players on contractdo not know if they are ging yet depends on how they train, so think that shows how wide of the mark this rumour is.

Not a chance he will stay at our club

Why on earth would we let our best player go to the pigs?
he's been out injured most of the season. the problem with our fans is that they expect everything from antonio. if they would just get off his back and support him, he would be back to the form we saw from him a year ago.

Not happening. Its the Blades fans stirring things up. Check out their page where someone says they are going to start the rumour.

Nobody mentioned about our best player going, they mentioned Antonio. I really want him to succeed and I support him but this is a debate. I don't expect everything from him as you suggested I just expect the ball to be under his control once in a while. Nobody can deny that the best football we played last season was when the players who were on the pitch was players who were comfortable on the ball, no helan, Antonia or reda and players like maghoma, semedo and mattock and also lee and Maguire.

Anyone else of the opinion that if antonio could get to the byline and ping a few crosses in he'd be a much better player? Unfortunately he doesn't and wants to be the hero and go for goal making him predictable for the opposition. Admittedly on his day he's great. Just a young JJ? Fact is we don't win often enough with him in the side.

That's the manager an coaches fault. They should tell him to do just that

Football is all about skill and confidence and one without the other is no good. Because of the constant disruption to his season through injuries Antonio never had the chance to gain the confidence he needed. Agains Leicester and Millwall and a couple of other games he looked every inch a class act. Against Burnley he snatched at every ball and never got a good cross in and it hot worse as the game went on and that is the lack of confidence. Getting on his back doesn't help. WAAWAW.

I do wish that the negative comments about any of our players would stop. What sort of motivation is that for them if some fans start bemoaning them.
Get BEHIND them and stop being so critical.

Dave Jones ruined Antonio. Played him as a main striker, which he's not. Poor lad did his best but he kept pickin up injuries which knocked him back. I've been a critic but still believe in him. let's get him back getting to the bye line an getting crosses in instead of tryin to score from impossible angles. mik
