Believable4 Unbelievable19

This after just missing out on Pep Guardiola by anychance too? Behave...

Agree9 Disagree3

Pep missed out 4/5 year ago, only Wednesday could do that, but it's true Rijkaard to be installed within the week, wait & see

Agree3 Disagree11

Agree9 Disagree0

madine to derby 1.75 mill

Believable11 Unbelievable22

Well I hope its not monopoly money because he aren't worth that!

Agree17 Disagree6

I HOPE SO!! Get rid!

Agree15 Disagree14

I really hope this is true can't see it though who would pay 1.75 million for a player in January when the player cauld get sent down in April

Agree15 Disagree3

No he isn't it is a rumour that started yesterday on a fake derby county twitter account

Agree9 Disagree1

Lets be honest, if this happened, it would be a good deal...£1.75million!

Agree8 Disagree1

By any yardstick Madine has been disappointing this season. I thought pending court case may have affected him. It galvanised Evans but everyone different. This rumour is way off the mark.

Agree7 Disagree0

Used properly and one day he will be worth this and more but at the moment? no chance. And there is the little matter of his legal 'difficulties'.

Agree5 Disagree0

Im a solicitor and he won't get sent to prison, He G, madine will have no charges at all as lack of evidence.

Agree4 Disagree2

His legal difficulties are paramount. The lad has talent, yet he seems to be wasting it on trivial matters. For me, he has not progressed one bit and for the moment he is not worthy of the Championship, and especially our massive club.

Agree8 Disagree1

TBH i like the lad, i don't think he's really been given a chance this season, well lets be honest he didn't really start alot when DJ took over last season, the majority of his goals came under the Megson reign.I'll be honest that i didn't get down to many games last year as im a student who lives in newcastle, but from what i saw of him (8 games) he got a couple of chances a game and took them well. I know he's got his trial round the corner, but i'd be sad to see him go. he's a talent, a lazy one but the lads got potential.

Agree7 Disagree1

Snatch there hand off

Agree2 Disagree0

Whats the differnce in brunt and madine, both lazy players but on the day they can be unstoppable, give madine more time and chances in the team or regret in cuple years like we are now with brung whos a class act player in a premier league team! owls about that!?

Agree2 Disagree0

West brom signed him as a top champ team, I don't think any champ team are that fussed about madine atm

Agree1 Disagree0

Different positions. Different attitudes. Different quality. Apart from that, nice comparison.

Agree2 Disagree0

Chris Brunt: Intelligent, massively gifted, tactically and technically sound

Gary Madine: Stupid criminal who spends his entire time on the pitch on his arse or moaning at his team mates

Agree2 Disagree0

swfc have accepted a 1.75 million bid for madine

Believable2 Unbelievable17

From the tooth fairy obviously..

Agree10 Disagree0

Were has this come from

Agree4 Disagree0

The pig sty I think,

Agree7 Disagree1

We paid 800k for him, he had a good season in league 1, but he hasn't done anything in championship and whoever is paying 1.75 million for him are stupid

Agree7 Disagree0

Too right mate

Agree2 Disagree0

375k paid for madine plus ad onz, that's why he frustrated and can't wait to play but milan mandaric if can will get out of paying 500k if makes more appearances in championship b4 start of august 2013 season.

Wednesday want Clayton Donaldson but Brentford want 250k

Believable8 Unbelievable12

Would love him here he'd be worshiped by the massive but no way could we afford that kind of money. Anyway he's also wanted by Peterborough, Bristol City and Ipswich so that's us out of the race for him.

Agree1 Disagree7

If we can't afford 250k its a disgrace an time to stop buyin season tickets. Think they, de want more tho anyway...mik

Agree5 Disagree0

That last comment was definitely a pig cause of course we can afford 250k, and I doubt he would score goals at this level, and I doubt he'd be worshiped, 100% pig comment

Agree3 Disagree5

We could beat any of them 3 for money anyway, and Peterborough don't sign 28 year olds, we could outbid any of those 3

Agree0 Disagree2

The above person must be living in the 90's. No way could we or would we pay 250k for a player. That would mount to Dave Jones's season long budget and 2 or 3 players would be expected for that combined outlay. Get real chaps.

Agree1 Disagree2

To the poster who said I was a pig is way off the mark. I, ve been watchin the owls since 1955 thru good an bad times. If you read the post i said if we can't afford 250 not we can't afford it. Surely we, re not too tight to spend it ...mik

Agree2 Disagree0

I said Clayton Donaldson would be a good signing in the Summer and got slated on here how things change

Agree4 Disagree0

mik he was replying to the comment above yours.
Takes a while for the site to be updated.
Of course we can afford 250k for a player.Good ones got for 800k- 1million though

Agree1 Disagree0

Yeah if we can't afford 250k how are we in this league when we can't keep up with spending, of course we can afford it

Agree0 Disagree1

We could've had Donaldson on a free last summer.

Agree12 Disagree1

Agree4 Disagree0

I'd give him a piggy back to Cardiff

Agree6 Disagree0

Agree7 Disagree0

Well tey gave us donkey Purse so its only fair we gave them one back.

Agree5 Disagree0

I'd go halves on his wages just to get rid.

Agree4 Disagree0

I'd carry him there.

Agree4 Disagree0

Agree1 Disagree1

I'd rather cheese grate my own eye lids than keep him.

Agree3 Disagree0

Agree2 Disagree0

Why risk injurys to players in a cup game when its much more important we stay in this league and keep are better players fit for the league games 7changes makes complete sense to me uto

Believable15 Unbelievable7

Because over 1000 people spent their hard earned money to go and watch it and a win would have helped the confidence grow and get fans back onside, now we are back to annoyed fans arguing with each other on forums and no doubt a rubbish atmosphere at Hillsborough again.

Agree10 Disagree10

No in reality were back to you trying to argue for no reason, would you rather win and survive championship or relegation and final of cup, survival all way will bring in more stability and better finance, think logicaly mate!! UTo xxxxxx

Agree11 Disagree4

Should have done the job at hillsborough

Agree8 Disagree1

Lets be honest here, we was never going to win the FA cup so a run in the cup is not what we need right now, we need our players as fresh as possible for the relegation fight ahead and stay in this league which we can do if everyone gets behind the cluband stops bitching, let the blunts do that its what they are best at. UTO

Agree7 Disagree0

Could cost us 5 million to go down so i am happy we gone out of the fa cup.
people stop having a pop at the team cheer the team on. Stay away from hillsborough if you going to boo.

Agree7 Disagree2

Regarding the post further up - there is never a rubbish atmosphere at hillsborough its always a good 90 mins of constant chanting. you obviously never go to watch the owls. i go all over the country and there are some miserable staduims out there, we take 2-3000 and take over the place. as for last night we should have won the first game if we wanted to really progress but survival for me any day of the week

Agree5 Disagree1

Is any really that fussed about the fa cup that you'd rather get to the fourth round and it possibly hinder our league form. Megson played a poor teams in the cup and no one was fussed

Agree4 Disagree1

I agree that the fans who travelled deserved to watch a competing team, however, DJ has to think about what's best for the club and I think resting players and giving others the opportunity was the correct decision.
If we beat Wolves at the weekend all will be forgotten.

Agree4 Disagree1

After the run we have had you need to build on the Hull victory. The only way to do that is win games. We should have gone all out to stay in cup

Agree1 Disagree2

16 Jan 2013 18:47:52
it's a chance for the non first players to get a run out and a chance for dj to have a look at them, its there chance to get noticed but none of them stepped up to plate, think swfc will be about as botherd as us fans are about the defeat,

At couldn't care less want to keep good run up in league.

Agree2 Disagree1

Whoever is saying 'the run we've been on' I think you are forgetting how much of a decent run we have been on! We've won 4 out of the last 6 league games and only losing one, with great away wins at Bolton, hull and Barnsley! We would have been way clear of trouble if other bottom teams hadnt been winning! What planet are some of you negative moaners on! UTO now let's push on!!

Agree5 Disagree1

Well said chief.

Agree1 Disagree1

Wednesday are the form team in the champ atm, form is judged over last 6 games and no one has done better than us recently
