I read it as Wednesday, Utd and Peterborough had all made a £300k offer. Describing him as a £500k player suggests that's what they want for him not that we've offered it.

Everyone judge Freeman over two Play-Off games where he showed little. But I've seen him play really well ine a league game against United, and cup game where he tormented Tottenham back four. He is still only 20, and I would love to see him sign for Wednesday even if it will cost us 500k
