Sheffield Wednesday boss Gary Megson is still after 1 or 2 strikers and possibly a winger, the strikers are likely to be either Adam Le Fondre, Neil Mellor or Jeffrey Schlupp (on loan). A new winger, thought to be Gary Roberts or Myles Weston, is now looking unlikely as Megson brought in Chris Lines who is a central midfielder, however he has been given the number 8 shirt which was thought to be reserved for a winger, expect at least 2 of these players to sign.

Steve howard will hopefully not come to wednesday
I sent a private message to Neil Mellor on twitter about him joining Wednesday and he replied "wait & see"
I know there will be doubters but I am the same person who told you we wasn't going to sign anyone the week before the season started,I.E. Mr doom & gloom.

well if its you from other week i defo dont belive you, that was made up, like i said megson wouldnt tell you anything, and we were bidding for le fondre so if that had come off you would have been wrong.
