Just read the BBC article ...... he really is a totally arrogant SOB , but he doesn't realise it I'm sure ?
He talks about the job as if its hard work and brain-testing!

In any case you don't have to have played the game professionally to know how to play it !
To prove my point - MOURINHO - the special one - never played pro football , he seems to have picked it up OK !
But then again our Dave says even Mourinho couldn't get a result with our squad ( did he forget that he brought 16 or so of them to the club !)
In any case he shoots himself in foot , if he can get the reputation he had with so little ability, anybody should be able to do it .

DJ has never struck me as somebody I could respect as a person, not even before his time before joining us. He is a bit of a pudding and seems to slope the shoulder when things don't go to plan.

Just been to the shop at Hillsborough and the women behind the counter at the till told me she had been offered the managers job this morning. MM has asked her to audit all the playing stock and sell it off in the January sale. They wouldn't buy back my season ticket..

Stop getting serious there are loads of points to play for,does anyone on here milan is going to say dj am happy carry on,lose next game and jones is gone then its the alamo,who ever comes in will be asked to get the players to cross over the line ,anyone not prepared to will be gone .

We've all been saying that about losing the next game for weeks but nothing's happened. I worry it never will until its too late for anyone else to turn it round. If a new guy is going to make use of the transfer window DJ has to be gone soon or else I think we'll be stuck with him to the bitter relegation end.

We are now 3 points behind Barnsley and Bristol, with Bristol at home to Derby and Wednesday away to Barnsley it is not unreasonable to believe that we will be six points adrift of saftey after these games. With this in mind something needs to happen and I am afraid that something must be a Taxi for Mr Jones. As for who comes in I'm not particularly bothered as long as come the end of the season we are clear of the relagation zone. One thing is certain, they have got their work cut out for them who ever it is.

Sadly not always appreciated by a lot of fans who don't understand HOW important the BASICS are ! Once you've got the basics right you have the foundation to go on and play football .
Theres always been a section of the fans who don't get it and not happy till they've hounded them out , only to realise that the alternative is worse - but they never learn.
The number of my mates who were happy to get "boring long ball" Megson out and get "pretty tip tap" Jones in .
None of 'em smiling now ! All of 'em wishing Megson was back in fortress Hillsboro'
