I can't believe the people bad-mouthing Megson are true Owls.
Yes he's been sacked , Dave Jones is a cracking manager who has got off to a flying start and long may it continue. Lets hope that this is just the beginning of our rise back to where we belong .
BUT whether you like him or not , it was Gary Megson, a proud Owl from a family of proud Owls, who turned the club around and put us back on the road to recovery. At the same time cutting wage bill and mainly using loan market . We also had best home results run for about 20yrs dont forget.
Lets always remember that, and the fact that he didn't get sack because he'd failed , it was personal.
We were 11pts clear in the play-off positions when he left. So let him leave with dignity and our thanks for his part in setting us back on the way to the Prem!!
I agree mate, gm did very well and was treated badly, in my eyes.
however, tuesday was the first time we have fielded 2 wingers this season & we obtained a goal tally that we should expect against a team like bury.
Megson had various chances to play 2 wingers and didnt

I agree that GM took us a long way up the right road and he is blue and white all the way through like Skeggy rock but he won 2 in 10 and the season was stalling. I for 1 will never forget the work that he put in and wish him very well for the future and maybe he will come back 1 day to take us even further. BUT and a big BUT, MM saved the mighty Owls from oblivion and deserves our respect and backing 100% with the decision he has made, people not going to like this but his money, his decision.
