If milan says we losing 5 million, how much of that is pecnics wages, how much is taylors wages, let's cut down on size of squad, a bit of quality and less chancers.

Agree0 Disagree0

Look as I may, I cannot find anywhere a report in which MM says we are losing 5 million. Not doubting you at all, but where is the report?

Agree0 Disagree0

Me too I can't find anything about losing any money at all, in fact MM has said we are a very attractive club for investors, good fan base, no debts and looking to push on.

Agree0 Disagree0

I am a different person to one who mentioned £5 million. However early in year Milan said in interview it would cost him £5 million this year to keep club in the black. Think it was about turn of the year. Pecniks wages were low but he has already left and Taylor will be on around 5000 a week at most. Not all signings work out you do well if more than 50% come off. So get realistic.

Said it in his interview. Losing bout 5 m a yr. watched a 19 min interview yest on personter

just read every clubs release list because that:s where all the new faces will be coming from. There won, t be any money spent only on the wages!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Think we will sign loan players but will also spend money. We bought Antonio £700,000 Maguire £75,000 and Taylor £50,000 last year. Expect us to sign two forwards winger, central midfield player and two defenders. Forward and winger will cost money.

Agree0 Disagree0

MM says club losing 5 million a year, still, how?

An off shore account under the name of Dave jones's dog? Uto xx

Why are there always at least one or two people who every time we are linked with a player from the lower divisions says that they are not good enough as they aren't playing at a high enough level and won't be good enough for this league. Even some players we have been linked with from higher up clubs are dismissed because they played last season on loan at lower league clubs.

I seem to remember a certain Michail Antonio played on loan for a league one club the season before last, so surely he can't be good enough and would never perform in the championship, oh wait he did perform well last season. Lewis Buxton another player who was playing for a league one club the season before last. He must have had a rubbish year this year because he couldn't make the step up, oh no sorry player of the year. One final name who was derided by a small number of people because he wouldn't have been good enough even when we were in League one Le Fondre, there was no way he was good enough for us as he played in League two. How wrong has that been proved with him having a good season with Reading in the Championship then scoring 12 in a debut season in the premiership with a bad team seems pretty good to me. Is he still not good enough for us though.

With the better scouting network we now have in place I hope we do get some lower league signings as they are hungry to prove themselves and way better than the older players we had been signing who just want a paycheck and not to fussed how they play

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Mostly agree but we had poor squad when we came up and players proven at Championship level were required Think you have to look at lower leagues but some names mentioned have been and are poor, but that equally applies to higher league players. Hope like you scouting network unearths some gems, Apparently we have been looking at a score of 15/16 year olds released by Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester United and Man City.

Agree0 Disagree0

They won't be good enough.

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree with a lot of what you say my friend but don't forget hungry doesn't mean skill, they may try extra hard but if the skill isn't there well! I'm not saying it will but buying these sort of players could be disasterous and who will complain next season if we are fighting relegation - we will - there are always 2 sides to a coin we just have to trust the management which is what they are paid for. Only 2 managers will see automatic promotion the rest will be also rans which means only 2 managers will have got it right let's hope ours is one of the 2 UTO

Agree0 Disagree0

The comment saying 16 year olds on trial will not be good enough is not accurate. Hayden White and Ayo Obilye were picked up through this route and one of them is going to fetch us a six figure transfer fee. Across the city our neighbours have exploited this for years Jagielka to name but one was picked up through this route. The huge Premiership league clubs have hundreds of youngsters on terms, I know Arsenal have six full youth sides. It is policy to sign up all with potential and money they offer means they got all the cream. However at age 15/16 they have to release lots of potentially good players as they can not accomodate them. Check many of players and you will find they were originally with major club and then snapped up and developed by another. It is not a market we have looked at until last couple of years a real chance to get hold of a very good player. This is first year we adopted policy and we offered terms to 6 players in the past it was one or two. If you check most of them offered terms came from others clubs youth systems.

Conner Wickham maybe set for another loan move as Di Canio doesn't rate him. Source Star. Personally would like to see him hear for a season, you can't really get the measure of a player in a month

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We are trying to put togetehr a deal to buy him.
