Just read on BT Sports that West Ham have taken Roger Johnson because Wednesday chose not to extend his loan to the end of the season. I hope this is not true!

We definitely need to sign a replacement before Saturday

Agree0 Disagree0

It's true gone to west ham on loan

Agree0 Disagree0

Of course its true. once again a half decent player leaves when we had a chance to sign him. holloways turned up at millwall. you cannot tell me if we went for him he would have chosen millwall over us. we are now a joke. cheers milan and league 1 here we come. By the way zayattes is one of the worst players in owls history

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't be daft, we wanted him to stay, however west ham are going to give a better financial package for his service which we can not compete with.

I have to say that as an Owl for over 30 years and playing for the youth team as a teenager, plus Sheffield boys, South Yorkshire, Yorkshire and Lilleshall followed by my choice to turn down a YTS at Wednesday in order to better my education and learn a trade, so that I could progress in life.
I find the comments from our so called experts on here absolutely rediculous at times, with no background to support such drivel.
Even when things are bad, which we have become accustomed to, I have enough pride in my choice of team to continue to support the regime regardless.
I know that others posting comments on here has no real input into decision made by whatever chairman is at the helm at the time, despite being "the loudest voice" but I would like to express my embarrassment at some of our fans.
Sorry to the die hard, my rant was not aimed in your direction.
Despite MM's so called dubious ethics, if you look at the recent infrastructure of the club, we are very lucky to be where we are and only our positive support will help us build and progress.
Many fans wanted rid of DJ, and rightly so, but many stated that Gray was the man. Already, they have changed their minds and are on his case already.
WTF is going on?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

You have to realise that not all contributors are Owls fans.
Some of the comments are put on here by fans of other clubs, local and further afield, just to get a reaction and try and get the genuine fans at each others throats.
Don't ask me why! - but it is a fact.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well that's is very true mate.

None of the names banded around for the Wednesday job have been right in my view. Pearce, Di Canio, Holloway, etc etc. It was probably just Wednesday leaking high profile names to keep our hopes up and to make us believe that these managers are within our reach. When any other manager is linked to a club he always gets asked if he's interested in the job, how come none of the above names were ever asked publicly if they wanted the Wednesday managers job or have at least been approached about it? If thing are as bad financially as we suspect they are how on earth could we afford any of the names touted around to be our next manager? We can't it's as simple as that. It's either Milan hoping that suddenly a buyout will miraculously happen and the new owners will bring in there own manager or we are keeping Stewart Gray or someone of less stature on the cheap. At the moment we've got no guidance, no manager, an owner that wants out and a team staring relegation in the face. Not to mention a team of below average players and loanees. Things are looking very bleak right now. I can't actually think of one positive thing to say about us at the moment other than we are still in the FA cup thanks to managing to get a draw at a none league side. How positive does that sound?

Holloway to become Millwall boss. good work for not even trying to get him in MM, at this rate there will be no-one available to take over, mind you S Gray was his choice all aong I think, always wanting the cheaper option good ol' Milan. nice one son :- (

Yes it's a blow losing Rodger Johnson but we have to move on. I'd put Reda at CB with Loovens and Mattock at LB. Mattock is a better LB anyway and after all when we signed Reda he was signed as a CB so can play there it was only Megson that moved him out to LB.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Megson moved him to LB because that's his best position he was a liability at CB giving penalties away.
At LB can use his power down the flanks and his rash tackles just bring free kicks and yellow cards, be a mistake to put Reda back there.
Better to use Buxton at CB might even be an improvement to have a CB with quick feet for a change.

Roger Johnson has signed for West Ham, yet another one allowed to get away but due not worry we are only a few months from division 1.

mike.

Agree0 Disagree0

Been looking on some of the transfer sites lots of teams in the championship are doing deals sadly nothing from us. I think its a fiendish plan. to let all the decent signing go to other clubs and then sign wot nobody else wants. Same as same as - last again

Agree0 Disagree0

What a surprise.

Holloway of to millwall roger Johnson gone to west ham conner wickham going to forest. Still no manager in place mm ether appoint Gray or get somebody of this 5 man short list that was a load of rubbish. I've said it for ages mm your a lyer and you haven't got us brill fans in your heart you only care about you. get the club sold or get your hands in your pocket.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well said, sick of hearing rubbish, ince this funds for new players that, be very surprised if he buys anyone this January.

Agree0 Disagree0

Got to agree with Real owl, we are a joke, mm just a con man, the last straw will be when he comes back and makes Gray manager one word RELEGATION

Agree0 Disagree0

It's certainly looking like it will be touch and go whether we stay up now if the main goalscorer goes and Johnson. Agree it doesn't look as though any money will be spent.

always said gray not the right man good coach not a manager
owls trying to get job done on cheap
all false economy
2months down the line we be looking for a new manager again?

get halloway, pdc
if millway get halloway its a joke we are bigger and far better support than millway
so's our poor ambition we have with the board etc

Believable0 Unbelievable0

But Holloway has expressed a wish to stay in the south

Agree0 Disagree0

Holloway to Millwall, posted a few times he was never going to team up with MM, understandable?
We got bigger worries anyway, MM not even prepared to stump up for loan signings now - Johnson gone to West Ham even though he says he wanted to stay with the Owls but they wouldn't talk to him or Wolves?
Crazy behaviour after MM said in his interview he wanted to make sure we kept him!
What is going on?
