Jones has lost the plot. I don't know what the style of play or tactics are anymore. At the start of the season we were playing well scoring plenty but conceding 2 but at the same time we were playing attractive football . Then lose at palace look where they are now and brighton again there a good passing side. Jones then panics makes beevers scapegoat again changes team and system and buys a has been centre half.he buys two full backs mattock and lee plays neither butboth now showing why we bought them.he has reda and buxton both gd players and excellent for us but essentially c halves but both are exposed when up against gd wingers. We need a young quick up and comin centre half to play along side gardner. Who is now showing why we signed him but unfortunately is only ever gunna play half a season due to injuries. we can then play higher up the pitch. And press teams . Unfortunately the team has now lost confidence especially at home although we are more solid. Prutton has added stability and leadership but is not the answer and can't dictate play. Mccabe gunna be excellent but needs someone to help him. Helan looks a gd player now we stumbled on his best position. Antonio is our only outlet but suffering at moment what with personal probs that jones alluded to and other teams giving him extra attention to nullify him. Was woeful yesterday and needs a rest. Corry another gd and upcoming player but needs time as does mayor . We need semedo back. Every team needs one but fans are expecting him to do things he can't do. Get himn to win the ball then sign someone like danny. Murphy to make us tick and lead we don't have any talkers. Up front we brought in bothroyd a bit like simon stainrod with his lazy languid style for those who remember him unfortunately he wasn't match fit when we got him which didn't help him but a class player none the less and when he was jones bizarrely plays him wide. To be fair he had no service and his lazy syle didn't endear him to the majority of our fanbase .upfront we can't hold the ball up sidibe is a joke presumably to cover for ogradys foot injury.madine can't hold it up. Ogrady to be fair is our best hold up player though not a proven goal scorer. We need a 20 goal striker and a pacy on the shoulder front man who can get in behind. And mm is caught between devil and deep blue sea because if we change manager now there will be no time to recruit the players we want. I personally want a change but understand we can't at present . I'd like karl robinson I like the way his teams play and he has an affinity with the fans . His 4 2 3 1 is now thw way to go all the top teams use it and a lot of lower teams ie blackpool brighton mk and watford to name a few . 442 is old hat and too rigid .mm only gets out of work managers so don't hold out any hope . I was one of the few at the match yesterday and also there for the Burnley game and I can only come to one conclusion, the Stuart Gray effect has worn off. Jones says the team were flat yesterday he said the same on Tuesday. The players seem scared and devoid of confidence. The team set up must be has confusing to the players as it is to us supporters.

We can't buy a goal because our midfield is set up to keeps clean sheets, the midfield on Tuesday contained two full backs, one youngster (McCabe 19) who is new to the Championship, Antonio who's form has dipped in resent games possibly because he doesn't know which role he is going to play from game to game and he looks has though he needs a rest to regain his form. Jones also said that Antonio has issues at home that are not helping.

A player (Prutton) who Jones was happy to let go and has not featured in any games prior to his resent run and is I am sorry to because I like Prutton is no where good enough for this level. The only reason Jones picked Maguire yesterday was because Helan was suspended.

Our forward line is a joke on Tuesday we played Sidibe on his own up front, I don't think he won a ball all the time he was on pitch yet he gets picked again yesterday and his performance was no better but he will be picked for the next game.

Jones seems to have lost the dressing room and they are not playing for him.

I've heard that DJ didn't appreciate the sudden impact that Gray had because it made his performance look even worse. Him and PW been overruling Gray thoughts last couple games, hence return to previous form, but MM is NOT pleased . Change imminent.

Yesterday's performance and result just shows how far we've come under Jones. we had pretty much 1st team out and MK Dons had to play some of there youngsters. They were better side and came closest to winning.

If we d played them last season with Megsons team and spirit we'd have been thro to next round ...... But that's progress for you

Not sure about whether we be thro with Megson we never know just a cup tie so owt can happen n Know what you gettin at. But you dead right about how much progress we made - none n there for all to see.

I don't expect many of my fellow owls fans to agree with me on this, especially those of you blinded by priggish ness and a deluded sense of self-identity which is in actual fact long dead in the modern game. my proposal is, after our next slump in league form (a run of around 4 games without a win, it is looking ever likelier that Dave jones would get the boot. my suggestion is somewhat left-field as to who should be his successor. two words: Neil Warnock. it makes so much sense if you are open-minded about it, the man, however unpopular and maligned, is a tactical genius in this division, he has fantastic skills in the transfer market and would stabilise the club very well. I know it's radical, but just look at the job Mr Wilson is doing over at the sty, on a budget much tighter than our own - it no longer matters in football who your manager supports or who he played for, if he's the man for the job then he should get the job. I'm telling you know, mr Warnock is the man for our job here at hills borough, should Jones slip up again.

Tool or not, he's a proven manager and an excellent coach - he'd love to stick two fingers up at mccabe at the sty after the way he left the club, would be a good move for both parties

Even if Warnock took over and we won the champions league, I would still hate him.
