Well today really did it for me. Fryatt taken off an Palmer brought on. Playin at home an not 1 striker on the bench. Yes I know Maguire was injured but what about Savic or Lavery. Accordin to Jones Savic us not ready. Ffs he's only here for a year. This is another Rodri cock up. Another thing I thought the development squad was for future OWLS players, not Sampdorias I don't give a toss about Sampdoria. Harry Catterick an Eric Taylor must be turnin in their graves. mik

Francis messed everything up full stop. The cup finals where atkinsons side. Everyone fell out and moved on when he came. Pleat pulled it back slightly with carbone but do canio left and although carbone kept us up himself the year after things went seriously downhill fro there. This is why we can't keep sacking managers an why I stand behind jones 100%. Since Wilson, yeah ok we can count some good little moments on one hand, but generally it's been cr#p. In my opinion since driving Wilson out, overnight Wednesday fans lost the plot expecting us to play like Barcelona every week and became so unrealistic and therefore never back a manager after the first 10 games if things aren't well. Said my bit. The knacker'd owl.

Having seen that today am totally fed up with it if Milan is trying to sell club please get on with it all this rubbish about selling club for good of club is making me sick he will sell to highest bidder end of.

Francis messed everything up did he? He took over the Fat Man's side and dramatically improved it. He signed Woods, Warhurst, Waddle, Bart Williams and Bright. Under Francis I used to go to Hillsborough expecting us to win and entertain. There was a point after the Cup Finals when we were thrashing teams like Everton, Ipswich and QPR week in week out. High expectations amongst fans and the board led to his demise. Like most people on this site you do not have a clue. Our demise can be attributed to a certain Danny Wilson and the fact you attribute it to a man who took us into Europe sums up your lack of knowledge.

I agree, Francis was a great manager. It's been downhill since. We have given a few of the old boys a go since and a few here have called for Riland Nilsson to be given a go and on paper he would be a great choice. Whoever suggested RN wants a medal, I'm sure he would be a popular choice?

The problem isn't Jones, it's Mandaric, he has the power to get rid of DJ but won't because of the financial aspect. Why can't most people see that?! Hope somebody invests before it's too late.
