I might be odd but I am pleased with the cup draw! Rochdale must be respected but if we beat Macclesfield it is a winnable game!
I just like Sheffield Wednesday to win football games! Any games! Getting A top four prem team away is what people want why? To lose 6-0 on the back of helping the finances!
Lets face it NOTHING IMPROVES WEDNESDAYS FINANCES! A game we may win is good enough for me!

If we enter a cup we should go for it. I agree rochdales a great draw. I know we ant beat macc/field yet but we should do an better Rochdale than man city or Chelsea.

The way to improve finances in a cup should surely be to try and get as far as possible, not glamour ties

Gray might have been tempted himself but takes a brave man to experiment with kids when your jobs on the line, would you?
But the real problem is all our playing staff are "PUSSYFOOTERS"!
We not got one player on the books who can get hold of a game by scruff of neck and make sure we do what we need to do to make a game "won" - that's why so many draws from games we should have won?

I have to say that Gray wouldn't be my choice of manager, however some of you guys are being total shlongs. The bloke got us out of Relegation, he changed our fortunes around. Remember lads where we were with DJ. I believe we need a big character to be our manager, but if Gray does become our manager. I for one will be behind him, because I'm a wednesdayite. So all you moaners and whingers get behind the team or do us a favour and do one. Frankly your boring the hell out of the proper Wednesdayites.

Although I was one of the loudest voices wanting Jones to go I feel our upturn has me wondering if it is really Grey or the fact that loovens is an organizer and is in fact the real difference so the change may have happened for jones too. I would like to see Holloway given the job but whoever gets it will have my full support ( for now)

Yes we should have beaten Macclesfield but this game was very different to a league game. There will have been some complacency from our players, there shouldn't have been but it is human nature to see a lower league team and switch off a bit. Also they will have been fired up for the game more than usual as they tried to get an upset, there players had absolutely no pressure on them as they were expected not to get a result so they could play with freedom and try things they wouldn't normally. Our players would have had pressure on them from the manager and more so from the fans to avoid an upset so wouldn't have had this freedom and would be less likely to try anything special and risk loosing the game. Still we should have won the game and I hope they do the business in the replay but to be honest the cup is a sideshow and I won't be too disheartened if we go out as we can concentrate on the league form.
