On 1st July a poster gave us a list of players we were signin includin dj Campbell. well he, s just signed a 2 yr deal with Blackburn.

Just because DJ Campbell signed for Blackburn doesn't mean we weren't in talks with him?
No but it does mean that he didn't sign for us.
The July post said he WAS signin. that was my point
Maybe we keep a log of all players said to be signing and measure against how many actually do. A very small percentage I'll bet. However it is a rumours site. But the problem is posters who say players are definately signing rather than I've heard a rumour or I've just made this up to look clever! All good fun at the end of the day. By the way we are definately signing Rooney, Bale & Ronaldo, fact!
I posted a few weeks ago saying imminent signings were not likely but talks were being had with several players and some interesting names were in frame. I got rubbished at time so have said nothng more.
This guy was on our list and I'm told next to top of strikers we wanted. It seems we were not succesful. Several names mentioned on here are on our target list but well down list for e. g. Marlon Pack.
I understand a new signing likely by Wednesday of next week. In view of those who have a go at any post I will not add further.
Its been in the star for ages that we are after several players. Its obvious that some of them will be "interesting". So stop pretending that you are "in the know". This is a rumour site full of people like yourself. If we do sign someone interesting i"m sure you"l come on here and say they were on your list!
