WORRIED Seen an interview with Gary Megson on the sky website. He is surprised Wednesday are one of the favourites to be promoted. In his own words he commented that we finished 15th in the league last season and 8 players have left and we have signed 5 on free transfers. Glad he is optimistic Or is he not getting his own way in terms of support in pursuing his transfer targets. (seems he maybe having a dig that we have spent no money) Sure MM said he would support GM in the summer. Somethings not right What's going to change in 26 days before the transfer window closes when we have had a number of months to recruit players. Does somebody think clubs will lower their prices when the season starts or are we looking at loans (a road GM said he didn't want to go down)

Wake up and smell the coffee. MM is a business man, not a football fan. Buying Sheff Weds was only ever going to be a short term investment. As soon as the club is stable, it will be sold. He has done it a number of times before,and he will do it again.
Maybe we were to hasty in taking his offer. Should we have entered into administration? If we did, we would still be in L1. MM has gained nothing since taking over. MM will sell at the end of the season, but GM won't last until Xmas. Let's be real and face the facts. Alan Quinn was in Austria training with us so there is a good chance he could be joining us.

The disbelief comes not from the fact that there may or not be a signing before Saturday ( that was always a big risk) but from the fact that you claim that Megson leaked the information to you personally.
