Can't help noticing that Tranmere are top of league 1 with Liam Palmer starting every game. Should be one for the future?

More on this, quote from Daily Fail under heading:
"He Looks A PLayer"
"Liam Palmer-the Tranmeer midfielder was more than energetic, with a decent range of passing. He did not look out of place amid Premier League company"

Ok so this is opposite of banter but...
It's all well and good showing great character and resilience to come from behind all the time. But surely we got to play from first whistle and not just turn up in second half. (I didn't get to palace game though, so just commenting on reports ive read).

That's what DJ & co will have been telling the players for last few weeks , but saying it don't make it happen, that's down to players attitudes and having 11 leaders on the pitch, which is another thing DJ keeps on about.

I went to game. They look startled in first 5 minutes. Defence had difficulty coping with pace out wide. Buxton was outclassed, made to look a fool, basically needed 4 yards more pace from half way line to penalty box to get even and did no have skill to cope with zaha trickery.

From recent reports Buxton is not doing well. I left the country this year, but before that I always went to home games and he was always brilliant.
Again from reports alone, Lee isn't that great either and maybe that is the key position to stop the standard 2 goals we have conceded in every game so far, in the league.

For us to be any where near the Promotion/Play off's then we need pace in the full back position's. I haven't missed a match yet and it's evident we are easy to catch out with pacey widemen! In my opinion it's time to use Lee & Matock-what do othes think?

Buxton struggled against pace in the year we went down in Championship. He has done extremely well in L1 but signs are not good so far. If we are to finish in top half substantial defensive improvements required.

So YOU think its time to use Lee & Mattock? ...... DJ brought them both to the club so if they were the answer, with their current fitness and form, I am certain he would have them both in the side .

Lee was injured in pre season, i'm guessing thats why buxton got the shirt to start, i'm assured by an oldham fan mate of mine we have signed a real un

Mattock has had injury was missing from bench on two previous occassions. Otherwise certain he would have started, also Jones did well against Fulham.
Lee is a mystery nt much has been said I know he did get injured for final fortnight of preseason then made the bench and has vanished again. Suspect he has some sort of injury too.
