What's the point in getting rid of DJ now. The transfer window has closed, we can't afford any loan signings. So whoever did replace him, would only have the same players at his disposal. We have got some decent players, they just need a confidence boost. We've been through worse times than these. All we can do is turn up on match days and back The Owls.

Fair point.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think our squad is just good enough with the right selections and encouragement.

Agree0 Disagree0

Getting rid of Jones and someone new in might get some motivation and get the right team selected in my eyes prutton n coke don't deserve the shirts they play in Mc cabe n Mc phail middle of park that's where we are losing a lot of possession n llera must play regular a great leader with zayette now

I posted on here a few weeks ago that anyone who is still backing Dave Jones is as much to blame as him for the mess we are now in. At the time of my post I got slaughtered by his supporters. What I said is now proving to be absolutely correct. The sooner the rest of his supporters stop backing him and put the club first the sooner MM will get rid of him.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well I guess different folk have different ideas when it comes to support, but to blame them for the teams poor form is comical.
Having said that, I do believe that DJ needs to be replaced now.

Agree0 Disagree0

We all want this club to prosper and be successful, whilst we all have our own opinions

But until Milan Mandaric gets his act together and either sells us or just let's us plod along back to League 1 our opinions will not count

The Manager has had money and wasted it, he's bought players in and sent them out on loan, we need players that can make an impact NOW

NOBODY can support Dave Jones anymore he has lost the plot big time

Dave did a great job getting us out if league 1. Not sure if he has the ability to take us any further.
When I see the likes of Swansea, Hull, Southampton, Stoke, much smaller than we are its makes you realise how badly we have been run

After the shocking signing of Helan I tried to inform the persons on this site that we would be in a relegation battle. I was accused of being a Leeds fan and even worse a pig! I also tried to inform the regular posters that Maghoma was a dreadful signing. I was called a negpert and decided in July not to write anymore posts and wait to see if I was right. I take no satisfaction in our current plight I just know more about football than most Wednesday fans on this site. Are the people who are calling for Jones head the deluded ones who were talking about the play offs in the summer? Just to let you know we are stuck with the inept Jones as MM is skint. Finally I would like to know where all the Maghoma fans have gone? He is one of the worst players I have ever seen in a blue and white shirt!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Don't know about maghoma fans but do agree with above post in parts. As an owls supporter for nearly 60 years I have had many highs and lows with our great team I have seen some good managers and some great players in the famous blue and white stripes come and go, but never have I seen our team so low in confidence as it is now. Its times like these when our supporters show WHY we are among the best and most loyal supporters in the land. What will happen in the near future I don't know but I do know we will pull through and once again be the great team that we always have been. Our team needs us now more than they have ever needed us and I know we won't let them down roar your heads off guys don't ever let people forget WE ARE THE WEDNESDAY uto eric the owl

Agree0 Disagree0

I remember your post!
And I agreed with you totally!
Maghoma should have left Burton
for a lge 1 club not a championship club. I have been posting similar stuff in the last few weeks.
One of my postings was about that we looked weaker than the team which did OK from the new year to pull to safety! We needed to kick on!
I knew like you in the summer we would struggle!

Agree0 Disagree0

I fully agree with you my fellow fan, I was also slated by some narrow minded know it all type called all kind of names when I said:
NO DECENT SIGNINGS THIS SEASON
Just like last season. Now I see them keeping quiet without acknowledging their pre ill judgment. We the fans deserve a lot better than this to keep our club in the high. Where's all gone wrong? (NDS)

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair, a lot of people slated NDS, because if you take hope away from some people they are left with nothing.
If it means so much to you that you was correct and others were wrong, so be it.
Enjoy your moment of glory.

Agree0 Disagree0

NDS came on ere after we signed Helan an said he WAS a decent signing, and he can't deny it

Agree0 Disagree0

DECENT SINGINGS not A DECENT SIGNING. Wake up please!

Agree0 Disagree0

There was some decent singing coming from the kop but I couldn't hear much from elsewhere. WAWAW WAWAW WAWAW

Agree0 Disagree0

This is not my moment of glory, far from it, it is hard for me and faithful fans to see our club in this situation again as we experienced that few times in the past. We were let to be believe it is a new promising era when MM took over. I only want other fans to realise that keep applauding failures is not the way forward, but we've never stopped supporting our club, and that must include standing against the wrong doings, the club does not exist without us the fans. We got promoted and were in the high with confident square. Started last season the championship with four or five wins, then what happened DJ decided to start from square one with large number of signings, most as we all know are appalling. What we are seeing now is the result of wrong doing and continuation from last season recipe of disaster. NO DECENT SIGNINGS THIS SEASON either as for last season, simply as it seems DJ is not capable to sign or attract good players and he has proved it over and over again. Then, you may ask yourself a simple question; perhaps MM does not trust him any more to sign new players, following previous experience, hence no more money. You can also question our scouting squad, do they really deserve their wages as well as the players who are not performing or able to compete. Hence, instead of slautering me and others' opinions, by some fans, let us rally together to put pressure on management for club restructuring that will see us through safely and moving forward. You can not simply keep supporting the wrong doings when you see it right in front you. WAKE UP PLEASE. (NDS)

Agree0 Disagree0

My dear friend you still haven't admitted the fact that you admitted sayin that Helan WAS a decent signing. If you're afraid to admit this then you have no right to call yourself NDS. By the way I think Helan was a risky signing. Admit you said he WAS decent an earn some respect

Agree0 Disagree0

I actually agree with NDS to a certain extent, but likewise he should appreciate other fans opinions.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I admit Helan is a good signing! The reason for that is clear: he did very well for us last season when on loan and that's why we signed him this season, most fans were happy to get him, consequently we paid more money for him. BUT you can not make a team with one decent signing mate! If he is not as good as we want him to be because the whole team around him and style of play and organisation is not good. The saying is NO DECENT SIGNINGS, so watch the letter 's' for plural please! (NDS)

Agree0 Disagree0

Helan was a good signing. NO DECENT SIGNINGS.

Agree0 Disagree0

COP (S) OUT, but you do make some reasonable comments
