We've just lost 4-2 to Scunthorpe with a strong side, not the best start going into the new season I hope with a few more additions we'll be ready to compete at the top end of the championship, also gutted about Rudy Austin he would have been a solid player for us.

gone from one of the best defences last season to this shower. I know its early days and all that but still the reserves should be able to take care of Scunthorpe. not giving me that looking forward to the new season fealing at the moment.

Interesting to note Wickham isn't even making the bench tonight for Sunderland when you can use as many players as you like. I'm not aware of him being injured.

I have just been reading about Rudy Austin, not only will he not be able to play under new FA rules, as he will not be able to get a work permit, as Jamaica are not in top 50 countries, he now has to leave the country taking with him his 2 year old son who was born here. Rudy himself is only 2 years away from becoming a British citizen. If his wages and transfer fee were more than £10 million the does not come into force. It beggars belief, somebody has got this idea wrong surely. Chance of appeal no chance. I personally feel gutted for him

So I heard on the SWFC podcast that we have a new GK kit but havnt seen it online. Apparently there was some dislike of the color being purple. Only thing I can't figure out is how that's any worse then PINK! LOL Anyone seen this thing by chance?

Its mainly purple with goldy shapes on it, its as bad as it sounds very 80s. My son loves it got it at owls in the park. If I knew how I'd send you a pic. Others green and black, same pattern without the colour 'wow' factor lol.

I was a little sad to see Paul Corry and Rhys McCabe leave, always kinda hoped they would have worked out for us. But unfortunately it doesn't always work out.

Specific Details are always sketchy for me.
But seem to think I rmember Corry bossing the midfield at Leeds and looked fantastic, but one game.
Rhys had a great spell early on, but it didn't last either. Sure they will both be successful football league players, with more game time.

Yeah I hope they get on someplace. I remember when we signed McCabe there was a thought he might progress and be really good but just doesn't look like it went that way I guess.
