Just read on Sky that Fryatt doesn't want to go back to Hull and wants a return to us, he says going back to Hull could be a "step back" for him. Let's hope we do the business and get him back.

Just a quick note to those who called me boring for talking about the club finances in a rational manner, I sing along with the rest of the true fans each week and I have a load of banter with the lads on match day, I just happen to be able to string a coherent thought together, hardly makes me boring. Typical of some of our lot for turning on one of their own for being passionate about supporting the club and trying to look on the bright side, call me boring all you want, I'm not a child so it washes over me, at least I'm not a due hard pessimist!

Just for you though, here is another boring stat from ESPN, we are still averaging higher attendances than most of the league, hardly all doom and gloom eh? Here's the link: http://espnfc.com/stats/attendance/_/league/eng. 2/english-league-championship?cc=5739

Don't confuse me with being boring just because I take the time to try to get behind the lads and look for a glimmer of hope and I'm realistic. If you read my post properly by the way I said the trouble with the team is down to DJ!

Support the team not the manager! WTID!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The barmy army supports the team at all times even when short changed by certain team members.
Whilst the current run of results in my opinion is down to DJ's selection and constant tinkering. I wonder who actually says who we sign.
We should all remember that a change of luck could be the least we get if we change manager

Quick question for everyone. My wife is about to give birth to our first son and I was wondering what to do about the mutual teams we support. I support SWFC having grown up there as do my family but my wife and her family are from Sunderland. I can't bear the thought of the nipper wearing red and white stripes but the father in law will want to see him in a sunderland kit. I was thinking he could wear at least SAFC away kits but what do others think.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Let him stroll around naked rather than wear red.

Agree0 Disagree0

He is your son and will be born in Sheffield so what is that to do with the grandba in Sunderland. we are all wednesday fans ;-) However, if you are concerned not to upset your wife then let him run naked, as the other post suggest (funny one), to please everybody, he'll choose wednesday in future anyway! Another suggestion, let him wear white pretending it is the england shirt then try to slip few blue lines quietly, so no one would know, by the time they realise that it'll be too late as he will be a wednesday fan through and through already! Don't tell them I told you this plse!

Agree0 Disagree0

Well up to yesterday us an Sunderland were the only teams left without a win this season. I feel sorry for your soon to be born young un. I hope he or she will be fit an healthy an try to get them interested in cricket!. mik

Congratulations. I had a similar problem only that my wife and family are dutch and her dad supports PSV, my wife supports the owls after meeting me so had the same thoughts as me. The nice kit he sent over was worn briefly to take some photos for her dad then the kit got mysteriously damaged by the washing machine so had to be thrown away :) We suggested getting away shirts from then onwards which he agreed to when we told him why. Wait till her dad wants to take him to see a game, it feels weird and slightly dirty supporting a team playing in red and white.

DJ sign him up for the wednesday development squad

A lot of people on here seem to be giving Reda Johnson a hard time for recent performances. He was very poor on Saturday however it is Jones insistence on playing from the back that is causing Reda problems. He should be clipping balls down the line instead of cutting inside and getting caught on the ball. He is still one of our better players and does have his limitations but people need to get off his back. For me the worst player on Saturday was Mcphail who was an absolute disgrace. He thinks he is John Sheridan but cannot pass and his set pieces were awful. Jones is trying to play football but we simply don't have the players to do this. MM needs to act now and sack Jones before it's too late!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

We have a manager who on interview gives the impression that its only the officials make the wrong decisions and we have not had the rub of the green there is no way he is to blame for the worst start to a season for many a year.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jones is tryin to play football? Are you for real or what. We're playin worse football than Bassetts Wimbledon. In 58yrs of watchin us our style of play is one of worst I've ever seen. I think Jones should go too, but if you believe he's tryin to play football why do YOU want him sacked?

Agree0 Disagree0

Jones is trying to play football that is why Kirkland regularly bowls the ball out to the full backs and then they look to play into midfield. The fact that we don't have the players to do this makes it terrible to watch. If we were playing like Bassetts Wimbledon we would not be losing goals like we did at Barnsley! You mention your 58 years experience however it is clear that you don't understand the fundamentals of the game. Don't worry you are not the only one on here who struggles with the basics.

Agree0 Disagree0

Couldnt agree more, the football on the most part has been appalling, hoofball, jones makes tony pullis look like pep guardiola!
the first 60 mins against the dingles were emabarrassing, no desire no basic footballing ability we just looked like persons live on tv. jones may be experienced but he blatantly can't motivate these players.

Agree0 Disagree0

You've contradicted itself m8. You said if we played like Bassetts Wimbledon we WOULDN'T concede like against Barnsley. I said we play WORSE than Bassetts team. An Kirkland hoofs the ball more often than not. The. next poster agreed as do most of the people on ere who complain about the style. So none of us "understand" the fundamentals of football then?

Agree0 Disagree0

Unfortunately experience doesn't necessarily promote knowledge.
To state how much experience one has shows signs of an inferiority complex.

Mandaric said his aim is to get promoted to premier, then sell us then maybe one day somebody who is not so tight and more willing to buy some class players will get us there.

If McCabe, Maguire, Corry and Maghoma are so good why aren't a they out on loan like Prutton and Coke did last season and proving the manager wrong. It is quite clear that the training organised at the club will never get you fit enough. Look how unfit McPhail and Olifinjana were and you won't learn to do the basics like passing the ball quickly to the nearest unmarked player. You will be taught how to get your head down and run straight into the nearest defender so you can give possession back. Go out on loan and show everyone what you can do.

Corry has bin on loan
