I have a feeling our biggest problems when it comes to trying to sign the big name player that everyone is clamouring for are 1) our history, the last 5 years we have got no higher than 13th in the Championship and two of those seasons were in Lg1. So a big player for example Rhodes when looking for a club and having a choice between us or a club like Middlesborough would be more likely to choose them instead of us as they have shown there title challenging credentials. 2) We have a new manager who is unknown in this league, this is not to say he won't be a good manager but for the moment he is a completely unknown quality so again big names are less likely to sign for him than a more established manager. I think once the players get used to each other and the new tactical style we will do quite well this season, this will then raise our profile as a club and we can attract the better players that we need to make the final push to the premiership
