While JJ is playing like this we have as good a pair of wingers in the league. Such a fantastic outlet for the team and so effective on the break.
Though JJ showed what he was about, beat people for fun lots of poor final ball and an absolutely fantastic goal.

Its nice to see Samedo not standing out - the rest of midfield now playing at his level.

Semedo has been consistantly good and engines the team a player u dont pay attention to because we now expect what he does week in week out and hes not a player who like e.g. jj scores screemers etc. If u was to take semedo out the team our midfield would be low energy and would get walked through. Mccabe has made the mid better tho as hes the battling creative playmaker in cm we have needed even tho lines is still a good asset as he proved last year.

He is immense.

In my opinion, tomorrow should be a platform to try out a few fringe players against good opposition. Lee, Mattock, Magiure, Mayor etc.

I think you should let DJ know how you're thinking he might let you pick the team cos I bet he's forgot hes got the players you mention.

Remember the GM fiasco last year treating this cup with contempt .we have a winning mentality at the moment and to lose that experimenting could have a knock on affair.No doubt DJ will make changes but only in areas where players might have an injury and need a rest.A settled team is the best way to keep winning the squad players will get there chances later in the season.Anyway a good cup run is always good for fans.

DJ said Mayor not fit and will not be ready until after break. Personally would rest those with bump,knocks, to ensure fit for Saturday. Think defence needs a bit of time together, it has improved since Oldham game but more required.

In my opinion it would be a good platform to see how far the starting 11 from saturday could take us this season prem opposition and see how good we are win or lose it should be a good test for us

Why not rest players to push for promotion? Plus see if we can improve in areas or who may be good enough to stand in when players a injured?

Yeah, as the guy said, I did tell DJ to play fringe players and oh look he did. ;)

What I have seen up to now this season DJ has made some top class signings.But the one player that he has signed that has stood out is McCabe he is class always wants the ball got vision good delivery good team player,the prem clubs will be hovering in January hope we are still near top then so he can achieve it with us.Absolute brilliant signing well done DJ

McCabe oh my word how good is this young man.Tommy craig mould this lad has got it all.

Kirkland has been class, which is weird, because we've conceded 2 goals every game

Saw Tommy Craig make his debut great player best penalty taker we ever had.If you consider we paid 100k back then for a teenager what does that work out in todays market I reckon about 6 million it was a bold signing.

Brilliant crowds for the last couple of games for even a premiership side, but can't help wondering why we aren't pushing 30,000 plus. Am I missing something? Or are the majority of Wednesday fans waiting for more winning momentum in the championship? Will be at Brighton hope to see you all there!

Two home games in a week,plus cup game tomorrow.if we get 15000 against Blackburn thats 65000 fans in a week.cosidering the economical climate i think thats good backing.

Also last weeks of school holidays a lot away on hols.

Lots of Prem teams wish they got our crowds.

The crowds will get bigger if the team continues to perform.Sheffield is starved of football success and we have had to many false dawns keep winning and the fans will return in vast amounts if we are near top at christmas 30k crowds top near end of season full hose every home game.We have great supporters but been through a lot these last few years.

If the success we have had up to now lasts or even if it doesnt isnt it good to see the the players ,the crowd and the management with smiles on there faces obviously enjoying the journey long may it continue.
